They could not help me on the short term but for others they are the difference between a lifetime of abuse or institutionalization. The workers themselves all know first hand the suffering and exploitation of the handicapped. They are a truely humane group of people. I would and do direct anyone they can possibly make life less miserable too. They are there when no one else is.

I like the fact that this place provides assistance to individuals who have or have had challenges navigating a social services system. Most of their business is geared toward helping people diagnosed with some type of disability, or even dual-diagnosed. Client advocacy touches a variety of areas in which the clients can garner resources and services.

Hello Mr. Peter De Neary, I have submitted ALL of the paperwork that you requested and still have NOT heard ANYTHING from WCIL! Will you please contact me. I filed my request almost a year ago! Folks, this used to be a good place but in the last few years it is NO Good and discriminates against certain disabilities! I will give this place and its workers a huge FAIL! It has caused me me stress and grief than ever. I plan to file a complaint against WCIL with the ADA! I only gave it the one star because that's the only way that you can post your comments!

DCRC provides guidance on resources available to the disabled community. In terms of housing, they conduct meetings twice a month, currently on Friday, which are held 2 weeks apart for one hour in the morning(the last one was from 9:30 to 10:30 AM). Ask whatever you need addressed, or call their main number for a referral. They give a bunch of handouts at the meetings. There have been staff changes, and retentions, so best to investigate on your own. There are 3 people that work in that area right now.

Got disable had to move into my mothers. Now I want to move back to my place. But I need help to get rid of furniture so I can use the walker?Where can I get help? Need to add it's old stuff that probably needs to be trashed.Mattress etc.
