I picked up a copy of my Birth Certificate. The entire process took maybe 5 mins from parking to filling out the form to receiving my copy.

Requested a DD214 via mail, Veronica clarified the request with her supervisor. Emailed the request form as I live in NoCal. Awesome! Then she walked me through the process to include a notarized request form and other pertinent personal information to ensure I’m the person who requested the DD214.

My mother uses her middle name as her first name. Some legal documents (driver's license, SSI card) identify her middle name as her first name, while others (passport, birth certificate) identify her by her first name. How can I remedy this?

In my opinion, her passport as in matching hel birth certificate, should prevail. Take her to the social security branch, fill a form requesting a nre ssi card, and write her names as indicated in the passport, I am sure the officer will change is for her, then in the DMV do the same and at the same time your mother can get a real ID.

Ask the Trustee but it the trustee isn't being trustworthy then call the Court House probate department and they will email you what they have that you are entitled to.
