Yes, you can we have two programs. I have a 1 year program discipleship program and we have a 90-day program if you're interested in the 90-day program. You need to come in Monday at 3:15 and try to get to bed. If you're interested in the one-year program. You come in Monday at 11 a.m. And talk with one of our chaplains.

We don't serve public breakfast. Lunch at 12:00 noon Monday through Friday. Dinner 7 nights at 6:00. Sunday brunch at 10:30 or so.

YES. It is a place of renewal and when i lived there 2 years free i learned more about sobreity and bak into college/routine along with my prayer life and Bible study. They also have a volunteer running program and network to churches and surrounding community. JESUS bless ya

For Lydia House go to the Multiservice Center and get on a waiting list for the ladies. Men go to the men's section, they will tell what time to come back to see if there is a bed available. The Mission has great programs to help you get back on track. So keep trying to get in and really work the program.

They are ALWAYS at full capacity.

If you looking for areas that have homeless population in bulk you should try the transit Mall located at 1st Street between Long Beach Boulevard and Pine there's always a lot of homeless people there they say they seek that area for the shelter in for safety

Be there @ 10:30. They have a Chapel service and after, they serve lunch to the public. They also serve dinner as well @ 5pm. All on Sunday.

You need to go to the multi service center in Long Beach you could see any social worker there ask for a referral to the Lydia house then they send the referral and you get put on a waiting list. We call you every Tuesday and thursday to confirm you are still in need till we have an available bed. Also the Multi service center has other options as well

This is a Christian recovery/ Homeless shelter for men women and children . People that come here are hopeless , and that are struggling. They come to make their to make their lives better and learning that God provides everything and can heal through him, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Clarina is correct, and may i also say its a great facility and staff is great, i volunteered there and its great.

My long-time personal experience dealing wiith the staff at the mission is that they are graciously forgiving and understanding along with having a real desire to help. My best advice would be to call in beforehand to inform them you're running a few minutes late. Just keep in mind that more than a few minutes late COULD unavoidably result with a need to come back again - Like if there was a lot of important info given out taking explain time or if a tour of the facility was given, etc... But, just ask the person on the phone what time will be too late to show up. I'm sure they can let you know! 👍 Good luck and God bless!

You and your husband can go to the long beach cold weather shelter, from there to the mission, men and women find help there.....

Yes they have beds you have to show up Monday through Thursday at 4:15 p.m. Friday through Sunday at 5:15 p.m. to get on a waiting list once you're on the waiting list at the shop everyday at the times I gave you to see if they have a bed available I meant you have to show up
