8/22 - They've started to build out the middle and continue to renovate the supermarket. More to-go choices, too. 7/22 In the past, a solid choice for a one-stop Japanese market for groceries and take-out/dine-in foods. This month, Mitsuwa is undergoing heavy renovation with about half the retail floor empty, so your choices in groceries and goods are limited. You may need finish shopping elsewhere. Gone are Matcha Love ice cream, travel agency, video rental, beauty, insurance, and used luxury bags shops. Prices increases one many items due to inflation, too.

Seems to be a sign of the times. Video store gone and entire shelves empty. Food court is packed as always though. I guess part of the reason for empty shelves is remodeling? Guess we will see.

I love this Japanese marketplace! The only times I’ve gone in is for shopping. However, my friend recommended that I’d have to try the ramen spot in the food court, and it was delicious! Go check out Hokkaido Ramen Santouka for lunch. There are plenty of options to choose from, and it satisfies your ramen cravings on a cold-weather day. 🍜 P.s. I’ll be back soon to try out the other food options in the food court.

I had came here to take my wife grocery shopping here (she loves her Japanese products!!!) and we went to the food court here and I personally got the Pork Katsu-Don and my wife had the Pork Curry plate. The food was amazing and we had switched plates beceach others plates was so good!! After lunch we went and browsed at the different stores and shops they had inside and I was amazed on the quality of food and other items, the overall atmosphere, how we were treated. I'll definitely will be back so we can try more food and shop for more groceries while having an outing to ourselves. Great job Mitsuwa!!!

I cannot recall seeing cutlery, just basic kitchen utensils. While there are many cutlery stores in southern California, try Anzen Hardware in Los Angeles' Japantown. They specialize in Japanese kitchen and household supplies. They have a variety of authentic Japanese cutlery. They are knowledgeable and been in business over 75 years. Recommend phoning first. If you go, parking on street or Aiso Parking lot, less than a block away. Details as follows: Anzen Hardware 309 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 (213) 628-7600 Hours Monday — Saturday 9:30am — 5:30pm Sunday 11am — 4:30pm (Hours subject to change because of COVID)
Masks required for staff and customers. Disinfecting wipes available for baskets at the entrance.

They do carry them (3-4 brands depedning on stock conditions). Look for diary product section. I just bought them few days ago.
It wouldn't surprise me as they have all kinds of stuff there but I wouldn't know specifically.
