Why go to a big box store when you can have personalized service with great knowledge at Ace Hardware? Now I know why they have the slogan “ ace is the place, the helpful hardware store”.

I would not recommend this ACE to go too. I went there several days ago and the gentlemen who works in the back Matt was amazing but today and entire different story. Matt wasn’t there today we needed to have plexi glass recut which the guy today did a horrible job jagged edges not straight. When I get to the front I point out how horrible it is and she proceeds to say “yeah guys in the back are separate don’t know about them” which there wasn’t anything to know other than he did a horrible job which she could care less about rectifying. The sad things is I believe she is the daughter of the manager since she was calling out dad to him. She could care less about making the customer happy it’s obviously just a job for her so if the daughter of the person In charge doesn’t care about customer service that should tell what your experience you will have there.

This store should never make keys ever again. I've paid them over $20 to make me a set of keys for my car and I've also paid them to cut me keys using factory Ford keys on a 1980 Ford thunderbird. It is a very simple key to cut and if I had the equipment I would have cut it myself. But I've had 2 different employees screw it up and charge me for it and nobody wants to fix it. I even bought factory brand new keys because I figured their Ace keys were not manufactured right. And they won't do anything for me and just tell me sorry we messed up. Now I'm out even more money and I'm fed up. Thanks for the wasted time. Hope someone reads this review and saves their money. What an embarrassment.

I was surprised to see this Ace still has Halloween items on "clearance". I was shocked to be informed $30 for some dumb small skull is ridiculous! Were in December!!! I wouldn't have paid more than $5. No wonder they still have those items in December, they are way over priced. Also there Christmas clearance prices are bizarre too . I expect to see these items way in to spring 🤦‍♀️
