a very nice place in the middle of the desert, pool, store, fantastic employees and taxies out to the lake, where theres a resturant, a water slide, and boat rentals, we had a really good time

Just spent the weekend there. Lovely area, views, facility and great being able to camp near a Ramada and grass however, they need to do something about the weed burrs throughout the grass. They get on your shoes and you carry them into your RV, you can't or don't want to walk barefoot in the grass, and if you have a pet with any kind of fur those burrs get stuck in it. I had my small dog and it took me over an hour to get all the burrs off him. They need to find some kind of weed control for that to make it a more pleasurable stay.

We love Lake Pleasant! It is close to home, yet feels like you’re far away. However, PRICES are now WAY TOO HIGH grounds are not kept as they were before, equipment needs repaired/replaced, staff is not as friendly, and the amenities are subpar.

Stayed here over Presidents’ Day weekend. It’s a huge park sitting on a pretty lake, just an hour outside of Phoenix. The park essentially has three different camping experiences: Full Hookup - Your typical, very cramped, private RV camping. Flat/Open Land - Think of this like Glamis. Big flat areas without hookups that groups can circle up in. Vista - A bluff that over looks the lake without hookups. We stayed up in vista with our 28’ foot travel trailer. It’s first come, first served and we got very lucky with an amazing spot. There is a heated pool that is clean. Our kids had a bunch of fun swimming. To have the experience of being able to swim and have a great view of the lake is unique. Personally, I would not want to stay in the other areas of the park, but if you can get up on Vista then you’re in for a fun trip.
