The Carefree location is by far the best location. The front desk staff are courteous and always keep the locker rooms clean. Definitely beats the other dirty gym locker rooms I have been to in the past. Member services reps (Courtney, Jace, Casey) and managers (Sean, Evan) are friendly and are always helping out with memberships, facility questions, and even take part in making shakes for members. This tells me that they care not only about helping out in their own facility, but about member needs. In addition, childcare is amazing and my kids are always wanting to go back, because they enjoy it so much. Good job Melissa! Also, The weight floor is awesome, and even though classes are going on in the morning and evening, there is enough room to get my workout in. Carefree, keep doing what you’re doing!

What a great experience! This is my favorite place to get away for "me time". The front desk staff always greats me with a warm welcome before I'm challenge during Julie's Cycle class. Then I'm able to shower and relax in one of the two steam rooms before heading to work. I wish I had a kid because child care looks so fun; bounce house, PlayStations, basketball hoops and a movie room. Love goin to Mountainside Carefree!

Mountainside Fitness Google Review of dislocated hip on 2.2.22 On 10.29.21 I had right hip replacement surgery. On 2.2.22 I had dislocated my right hip on the leg press machine at the Carefree Mountainside gym. I had performed that same weight twice before and was attempting my third set when I dislocated that right hip. Many gym members came to my rescue and started removing the weight from the machine. I was crushed against the backboard and in immense pain. It took 4 guys to lift me from the machine into the chair. I was helpless. The fire department was called and a member of the gym just happened to be there from that particular Station that was called. He was helpful in facilitating that call. My special thanks to Reid Merrill (Fitness Manager) who was my constant companion during this painful time. He had placed his hand on my shoulder with constant reassurance that he was there for me. I could tell I was going into shock before Fire arrived as I was shaking like a leaf. Zack (Personal Trainer) was also there for me. Thank you to the General Manager, Sean, for his 2 follow-up calls to my wife checking on me. I’ve returned to Mountainside Gym and my hip is back in place. You can bet I’m avoiding that leg press machine. 😊

This gym was absolutely amazing! Very clean. The staff was great. Super professional and helpful. Sean helped us with our pass for the day and now thinking about joining permanently. Highly recommend this gym if you live in the area.
