This place really seems like a scam. Luckily, I followed my gut and didn't sign up for a membership. Tried but even that posed issues. Started the application online on a Thursday then left it unfinished as it said I could have a 3 day guest pass and I knew I was going out of town that weekend. I got a phone call on Saturday and I wasn't able to speak and let the caller know that. They activated my 3 day guest pass anyway that would expire before i could even use. Went into the gym to try to sort this out and Mike told me "I was coming in with accusations" and that I hung up the phone. Which I guess is why they decided to activate my guest on Saturday? Makes no sense. Choose this place because it is closer to my work then the YMCA but seems worth it to drive further for better service and a more trustworthy gym. I get the feeling I'd have to constantly check for hidden fees or something with this one cuz i didn't tell them not to charge me.

This gym is very shady. They charge you for first and last month upon initiation, and charged me AGAIN when I canceled the membership. To cancel, you have to PRINT OUT A FORM and MAIL IT, and they say it can take a week of "processing time", basically just stretching out time so they can have an excuse to charge you for another month.

At least 4 days and counting without hot water for the pool, hot tub, and showers. They can't do anything to discount the membership because "everything else is working" And on average the hot tub is out of service 0-3 days every week.

Well equipped, vast assortment of new machines, with plenty of interior room to concentrate on your preferred regiment. I’m impressed with the array of high-cardio cross trainers and cycling machines. Owned by the folks at LA fitness.

Yes, a mask is required at all times with the exception of the cycling class (I was told the open bikes are spaced over 6ft apart). Otherwise, try not to over exert yourself and remove the mask. They check your temperature and give cleaning bottles when you check-in so you can clean the equipment after yourself.
There's a membership fee $140 when you sign up then there's a monthly fee about $30 and then there's a once-a-year $35 maintenance fee you have to pay every October. And you can also set it up that if you don't want to use the gym for a while you can pay $10 a month not to lose your membership. But if you stop going and you don't pay that $10 monthly fee you lose your membership.
4 rowing machines
Just a credit card and ID.
Usually $29.95 for a basic membership plus a joining fee. They have specials when you can join for free.
Don't recall seeing a punching bag but this place is full of douchebags
Yes
There's no private parking. It's all the mall area.
$35 per month which seems reasonable. They may also ask for an initiation fee of $99 -149
The truth is yes. It is a 5 dollar charge. I just went to the LA Fitness in Maywood (SoCal). I had my 5 in hand and they waived the fee.
