A nice lake which you can swim in and has a small beach area. There is a picnic area near by and multiple trails around the lake.

Beautiful lake, especially in the early morning. It is a short hike around the lake, though it is rough and you have to be on constant watch for poison oak on and around the trail. When the sun is right, you can see into the lake. I have seen a huge amount of minnows and a few turtles. Did some fishing recently, hoping for bluegill, but caught a good sized bass instead!

Nice lake. Last time we went, the fog never lifted and it was so cold we barely stayed 2 hours. However the water was very warm. Snack bar is a bit pricey.

I don't recall that there is fishing allowed there. You would have to hike the trails to the other side of the lake because the beach is solely for swimming. I think the fishing is better at Lake Temescal.
