Great place to workout with your friends. Jennifer and Kris are excellent trainers who have helped and encouraged me to lose 60 lbs this past year. The gym is open 24 hours and you can work out on your own or attend group classes. The classes have been great for me as they make me work harder than on my own plus I work out with a great group of friends.

I started going to Fitness First when they were at what is now Calistoga Motor Lodge...can’t remember how long ago that was. All the trainers are knowledgeable, friendly, supportive and respectful. I’ve been part of a Monday Wednesday 5:30 morning (we recently changed it to 6 am) class for a very long time. Suki leads us through an hour of movement and weights...and laughs. It’s a hard workout, but we all leave feeling glad we came and knowing our day will be better because we took the time - that hour- for ourselves.

I have had nothing but a great experience at this gym, from the interaction they have with the members, the classes they provide, great equipment, fun 21 day challenges to the cleanliness. When I walk out that door I know I had an awesome workout and I feel great.

Love this gym! Inviting and genuine folks here. Lots of equipment and a variety of classes. Something for every one, every level. Really enjoying the Yoga classes. 24-hour access is a BIG plus.

Yes, we offer separate changing/storage rooms for men and women, free of charge. Fitness First is not responsible for lost or stolen items. We highly recommend that you bring your own padlock and lock up your personal belongings prior to your workout. Bringing your gym bag into the fitness center is highly discouraged.
You should stretch before and after you work out. Light stretching before exercise can prevent injuries from occurring and stretching post-exercise can help to reduce muscle tension and increase flexibility.
