Oh-My-Gawd 😩🤌🏾 The worst thing about this place is it isn't in my town it's literally 101 miles away. If I didn't prepare my dinner before I left home, I would have bought some for later. I hope the owner see's this...Sir/Madam, get to Charles Co. ASAP 🙏🏾

Me and my girlfriend go here regularly, well the cashier accidentally rang our orders up wrong, so the manager refunded our money and gave us our meals for free. One of the best places to get hot fresh food and get your moneys worth. Best seafood around, we absolutely love this place!!

so I'm home sick awaiting the results of my covid test. i haven't eaten much the past few days but for some reason I've had a craving for a fish sandwich and coleslaw. like really badly. weird i know right? so anyway i look up options near me on door dash that i can get delivered. skrimp shack pops up. i know the place, it's right by Martin's where i buy my groceries. never really gave it a second thought. i Google it and read the reviews. well now i have to try this place. man am i glad i did! i got the kids meal (I'm sick, give me a break) fried catfish sandwich with mac n cheese. the literal only suggestion i have is to make all the sides available to choose from when ordering a kids meal rather than only having fries and mac n cheese as the options. but i get it. kids usually want fries or mac n cheese. it's a no brainer. but for real i don't think i could eat one of their monstrous sandwiches (i mean that in the best way trust me) so the kids meal was the way to go for me. i ordered a side of coleslaw too because i needed it to slay my craving. i opted for the mild po boy sauce instead of my usual tarter choice because why not? it sounded good, even though i had no clue what po boy sauce was. worst case i don't like it and i got some mayo in the fridge. i was going to order my sandwhich with lettuce and tomato but i have some here at home so i doctered my sandwich here (after i took the picture of course). let me tell you how big this "kid size/small" sandwich was. look at the picture! i was expecting like a McDonald's cheeseburger size sandwich. holy cow i was wrong, thank goodness. the catfish was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and flakey goodness on the inside. the breading was tasty but mild and not real salty, perfect for catfish. the mild po boy sauce was amazing. it had a little kick and was fantastic. i will get it with everything i order from here from now on because it is that freaking good! they also gave me a packet of tarter sauce which was nice of them. i really appreciated that. the mac n cheese was white with a slight sweetness to it and the noodles were firm and not mushy. perfectly salted and i added some pepper but that's a personal thing. the coleslaw was super duper yummy. sweet and tangy and crunchy and fresh. just what i needed! i inhaled the sandwich and ate half of each of my sides and i am so very full. this place is a gem. i hope to enjoy many more dishes with them. I'm excited to try the fish tacos and skrimp po boy. their hush puppies are on my list as well. i will keep updating as i explore their menu.

Are you kidding me? This is the best fish sandwich imaginable! I live full-time on the Outer Bank in Duck NC. I routinely catch Whiting in the surf and cook them within an hour of caching them. My first-ever experience at Skrimp Shack accross from Martin’s in Winchester was a Whiting Fish Sandwich with “6” perfectly breaded and perfectly fried Whiting filet chunks on it (see my three photos attached to this review). Phenomenal taste and texture. And the Cole Slaw was great too! I’ll be going back to this place often to try every item on their menu! Bravo Skrimp Shack! Delicious!
