We visited RC this past weekend and We have been there many times without disappointment. This particular visit did not go well which was surprising. We had dinner reservations for 8 AM and although we heard the hostess telling people numerous times that they were seating on time, we did not get to our seats until 40 minutes later. In addition to that, the waitress seemed to rush us on our orders however never came back to check up on us at the table. We had to flag people down to get water refills and drinks. We ordered the steak ribeye which was cooked to perfection, however when ordering a lobster tail, it was smaller than the size of my hand (small hands) and the lobster was burnt. (This is a $20 lobster tail). It was difficult to get the waitress to come to our table to see if we can get a new one so we just ate what we had and paid for it. In addition to that, we had to ask the waitress three times for her to go box and she took a very long time to bring us our check and bring back payment for signature. We ended up at the restaurant for 2 1/2 hours which was extremely frustrating. What happened? It seems that the customer service is not the same as it used to be. As many times if we have gone to RC, don’t know if we will be going back again. This is an expensive restaurant and service should be impeccable.

I went to R.C. on 8/30 for my birthday dinner. I frequent R.C. but was sorely disappointed with this visit. First, wait staff was on the slow side. Secondly, I ordered from the Miami Spice menu and the steak was disappointing. I ordered the filet cut, but I come to RC to hear the steak sizzling when it comes out (definitely a highlight) but no sizzles. I asked for well done butterflied and it was burned dry and no sizzles..Upon complaining the manager did have them re-do the steak but this time it looked like it went from 9 ounces to 5 ounces (one half of the butterfly). The mini bread pudding made me roll my eyes in disgust..it was super dried out and left in my plate. My sides (mash and spinach were great). NOT WHAT I EXPECT FROM A $135 DOLLAR MEAL. MIND u, prior to this R.C. was a favorite.

I’ve loved Ruth’s Chris forever and I was always my favorite steak. The picture you see is what it use to be. It’s no longer the same quality. The classic menu I got last week… the steak quality was obviously different… it looked smaller. It’s no longer that clean cut filet you see in their pictures. You can get that filet at Trader Joe’s and make it at home. Comes out to $12 per steak. Also the quality of their sides has gone down hill. The mashed potato is no longer that heavy buttery taste. It’s watery. Literally everything has gone down hill. I assume this is due to inflation… but their prices have stayed exactly what it has been for the past 10 years. So their probably cutting corners. I wouldn’t come back here…

Steak, primarily, but the do have fish and chicken options for a main course. Sides are ordered separate from main course and there is usually a good variety of those.
There is no indoor dining right now. It's only curb side pick up
Yes... A very fine steak house and you need to make reservations or you can sit at the bar. Very fine.
$8 tip of $2 is nice. Time unlimited. Be prepared to wait for your car during busy times
