For the first several years, we were very, very pleased with our Fidelity advisor. We felt he understood our request to be VERY conservative with our nest egg, which he was...until Covid hit. As the market crashed we felt he did little to protect our interests and we wound up losing tens of thousands of dollars. Absolutely not how we expected Fidelity to handle our account. We were very disappointed. I won't delve into further uncomplimentary details but suffice it to say, we took our money to Merrill Lynch.

They Transferred an account For me/Dad from td ameritrade. Then decided they needed my signature guaranteed after the fact, in other words after they got the funds/ account, so they froze the account & wouldn't allow any activity until They verified my id. I came into the Woodland Hills office to do this & was treated with condensation bc I didn't ask for the correct form. Very disappointed with this new investment firm. Rocky start. Hope it improves.
