Great driver, beautiful ride, buying boarding pass more awkward than it should have been.

My daughter lives in Novato and she has been coming to SFO to pick me up and take me back the past several years. This last trip, I decided to check to see if there was a shuttle and I discovered the Marin Airporter... I was somewhat cautious but was totally pleased with the trip - not to mention the price. My daughter was equally thrilled - of course :) I'm going back out in a couple of weeks and will surely be hitching a ride on that fabulous bus!

I wish EVERY state had a local airporter! A great service and a great price too compared to a taxi or uber to get to and from the airport. Multiple stops and times, please do due diligence for schedule before riding. I've experienced a time when the airporter arrived late, thankfully I alloted an entire 3 hours before my flight to be at the bus stop. A minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. Can't recommend this service enough.

$23 per a ride from Andersen terminal to SFO. Cash only. The bus schedule should be checked before the passengers to arrive at the terminal. Since Covid-era. The buses depart every hour from this station. Usually at 20 minutes after an hour. Check schedule before arrive!!! And must park your vehicle in the back of the trailer office building which the entrance to the back is on the south side of the building. Do not leave your luggage unattended to get ticket inside because I believe the luggage gets stolen when nobody is guarding them at night or early morning hours same way all other big cities seeing the similar crimes targeting unsuspecting travelers & tourists.

The 9:20 from the Andersen Drive terminal is the latest we recommend.
The pickup times are at the International terminal curb. Then it goes to terminals 1, 2 and 3. Depending on the number of passengers and bags, it may take 20-30 minutes to go through the loop. Last time I arrived at 5 minutes past the hour at International, I took the airtrain to T3 and caught there, at 20 mins after the hour, the bus I would otherwise have have missed.
No scale at the Marin Airporter.
Yes, on the Bus. For online tickets go to www.marinairporter.com
Yes.
NO, same low rate for everyone $23 one-way fare to the airport
As of 10/7/2019 you pay the cashier inside the terminal building.

So, good answers. Also if your flight leaves at 9:30 and you need to arrive at SFO by 8:00am subtract 90 minutes I would take the 6:20 bus. If you are flying internationally subtract another hour and take the 5:20. This method will give you plenty of time to get that coffee and ? . Just saying. Be early and relax a little.
We don't have a set limit. If it's no more that 3 or 4 bags per person it won't be a problem. We reserve the right to refuse oversize or overweight luggage or freight. If you need more specific information, feel free to call our main terminal at 415-461-4222 and ask to speak with a supervisor.
I would recommend the 6:50 AM from Anderson. http://marinairporter.com/stops-schedules/complete-schedule/
Buses depart Novato once an hour at 5 minutes to the top of each hour starting at 3:55 a.m. and 4:55 555 up to 9:55 at night 7 days a week. Cost for one adult would be $23 per person. Pick up times at SFO? Buses will go through the entire airport picking people up approximately every half hour starting at 5 a.m. up to midnight. No Reservations are required.
No, they only do SFO to Marin.
Hi Sherri. Last pickup from SFO is at midnight and heads to all stops northbound including Novato.
YES, the Airporter is dropping off at the bus stop that's on the same side as the ferry terminal along Sir Francis Drake so yes that drop off has resumed.
Unfortunately we do not go to Penngrove. The bus service that will get you closest is the Sonoma County Airport Express. https://airportexpressinc.com/
Our online tickets are not for any particular time, so you can use them on any bus, either direction, and they are actually good for several weeks beyond the date of travel listed on the ticket.
Yes, we have long term parking at our terminal on Andersen Drive in San Rafael. $6.00 per day or any portion thereof. Check https://marinairporter.com/stops-schedules/anderson-drive-san-rafael-2/ , or call the terminal at 415-461-4222 for more info.
I would recommend taking the 2:30 bus from larkspur. That should get you to SFO around 3:30. The next bus leaves Larkspur at 3:30 and usually gets to SFO around 4:30, which might be cutting it too close if there are any traffic delays.
We don't sell tickets for specific times, and while we don't guarantee seat availability, we haven't been having any issues with buses filling up. Where and when were you going to catch the bus?
On 19th Ave, the left lane is safest for the buses as there are only vehicles on one side for the driver to worry about. The left lane on 19th Ave. is not a "fast" or "passing" lane, as it is a city street. You will notice there are no signs instructing slower traffic to keep right. On the highway, our buses certainly should not be in the far left lane, unless they are actively passing, or are using the HOV lane during the appropriate hours. If you see one of our buses impeding traffic on Hwy 101, please let us know where and when you observed this and we will be happy to speak with the driver.
The next bus starts picking up at 7:30. The one after that starts through at 8:30.
Yes! I'm not a math genius, but, you are going to safely be at SFO at 9:30 and will be there before 10:00.
Buses are running from Hamilton to SFO everyday, once an hour, departing at 5 minutes before the hour, from 3:55 AM until 9:55 PM. Seating is limited to provide for social distancing. All passengers are required to wear masks while on board the bus. More details can be found on our website, or by calling the terminal at 415-461-4222.
The 7:38 bus from Manzanita will get you to SFO at around 8:25. (The 8:38 bus will get there around 9:30, which is probably cutting it too close)
we are located at 1081 andersen Dr. Yes, you can pay the shoffer in cash and you can also buy your ticket online. Marinairporter.com. Thank you.
Check the Marin Airporter.
Either 4:50a or 5:20a from their station on Andersen Drive. Fare is $23 for a one-way trip.
Yes
We have buses leaving Novato to SFO once an hour. The terminal is located at 1455 North Hamilton parkway, across the street from the Marriott hotel. Location and schedule information links below. https://marinairporter.com/stops-schedules/hamilton-novato/ https://marinairporter.com/stops-schedules/complete-schedule/
Or personal check, or paid in advance online (print the receipt and show it to the driver)
That's not a Marin Airporter destination (it ends in Novato). It's Airport Express (white buses) that serves Petaluma, RP and Santa Rosa. Look up their website.
This is a q&a site for users. Applicants must apply through the proper channels.
The floor of the bottom, the floor of arrivals, from 1, 2 and 3. Follow the signs for airporters crossing the street of the pick up and drop off, the marin airporter stops at the green/white color lines on the curb.
I used to drive for marin Airporter. Allow 1 hour and 30 minutes minimum
As of 9/1/2015 the fare from most stops in Marin is $22 with the exception of Novato Hamilton which is $23 per person children that are 12 and younger free, 13 and older is full price.
much appreciated folks thank you.
At this point you're talking a whole different Charter. But you can give them a call to see if they do that type of service
$22. Why wouldn't you look on the website for answer to this question? Just wondering...
There is short term parking at the Anderson terminal. Something like $6 a day
You can get their schedule online including how long the trip is and when you can expect to arrive at SFO. Fare is $22 for an adult. I think it's now every hour at 10 min. after the hour from the Transit station. It goes every half hour from the Anderson Drive site. I think the length of the trip is scheduled for about 1.25 to 1.5 hrs.
