Peter Levi Plumbing & Heating holds an annual turkey giveaway in the Canal. It will be on the 26th at 6:00 pm in the parking lot at Cardenas Market in San Rafael (330 Bellam Blvd). It is first come, first serve and while people line up, they give out about 600 turkeys. Food bank gives out holiday staples this week through their regular distribution sites but only to those who are already enrolled as food bank clients which can take up to two weeks.
Community Action Marin serves low-income households and the most vulnerable people in Marin County by offering programs and services to meet their needs. Programs include child development, mental health, homeless outreach, economic mobility, and other support services.
Community Action Marin is open 9-5pm Monday through Friday.
Take the freitas parkway exit. Take a right off the exit onto freitas....left at the light wallgreens on the corner. past northgate one....cross the next light and you are on northgate drive...about half mile amd 555 northgate drive is going to be on your right.
You may wish to visit Community Action Marin and discuss your PG&E bill with staff. The agency may be able to assist.
