SFO Terminal 3 has really improved in the past year, especially the area with the lower gates. My flight last weekend was delayed 8 hours, but I had no problem staying entertained and well fed at the airport. There are lots of great amenities: -- Plenty of power outlets -- Unlimited free WiFi -- Free water refill stations -- Clean -- Plenty of seating -- Fast security with Clear, TSA Pre, and Priority Lanes -- Several lounges including United and American Express Centurion -- Great restaurants, including Limon Rotisserie, Super Duper Burger, Bun Mee (Vietnamese Banh Mi Shop), Fraiche, Sushi, and more!

Questions & Answers

After picking up luggage can you return to the 2nd floor for breakfast or lunch and then after go back down to the 3rd floor to catch a cab?

No you cannot eat at any of the restaurants that are past security once you’ve gone to baggage claim

Gate 74 is located at terminal 3; United airlines, departure level 2. Next to Checkpoint F3.
