First of all, there was a misunderstanding by reservations and they cancelled my room the day of arrival. The room that I ended up with was not what I had reserved. The location and price were good. The room was not handicap friendly. I was on the 2nd floor without a elevator. The bathtub did not have a safety bar or non slip strips. The room was worn. The wood trim and some fixtures appeared old. There was a polished fingernail on the middle of the bedspread. Which also had a couple of burns. The floor was tile. We had to wipe it down with a towel to clean it. You get what you pay for definitely entered my mind.

This place is Wonderful! The rooms have refrigerators and microwaves, irons and boards. They r clean and cozy and the staff there is Great!!! Very kind and helpful and oh, also there is a coffe pot in your room! I Loved my stay. Oh, and Cable with HBO and was cheaper than the motel across the street with Nothing in the rooms. And I mean Nothing! This place is great!

If I could give this less than 1 star, I would. This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I drove 16 hours and just wanted a good nights rest, and I didn’t even end up staying here. Upon entering the room, it REEKED of cigarettes and just a really bad stench, which I had requested a non smoking room. Secondly the bed was disgusting. There were cigarette burns on the top sheet, stains on the sheets and black hair ALL over the pillows. There was also clumps of black hair on the toilet and in the shower. The bathroom floor was wet as well as the shower, in which there was also still an open, used bar of soap. I went and asked the lady at the front desk for a refund and told her I wouldn't be staying here and she told me since it had taken me longer than 5 minutes to request a refund that she would not give me one. (It took me more than 5 minutes to park and bring my stuff in from the car). I called choice hotels and filed a claim, went back and talked to her and she still said she was unable to give me a refund. At the beginning they also wanted a $150 cash deposit that the website said nothing about, and I did not have $150 cash on me and she told me I needed to go to an ATM. We asked for a manager, and we were told he would not return until the following Sunday. Very rude, unaccommodating staff, and very disgusting hotel. Would rather sleep in my car than spend 5 minutes in one of their rooms.

I liked Staying at the Roadway Inn. I have pets so I had a bottom floor room and it had a sliding glass door so I have easy access to take my dogs potty. The rooms are spacious the room I was in had a couch and a little table with chairs. The owners here are very nice and easy to talk to. I would definitely use Roadway Inn again.
