Halloween done fun! We were invited by friends to join them for a Halloween celebration. It seemed that every trailer and spot was decorated, many extensively. Lots of candy and fun for kids. Recommend!

Loved it!!! Our first time at Vail Lake, WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OURSELVES!! BEAUTIFUL, RELAXING N THEY HAD MY FAVORITE ICE CREAM, RAINBOW SHERBERT AT THE CAFE!! We look forward to enjoying it again!!

We come here often, this weekend was another mountain bike race, looks sold our on all levels, people everywhere, so much laughter in the air, I hope u have read my other reviews about this place...let me sum it up...bring friends and family, sleep before u come, get the flier of activities restaurant, bar, golf carts, kids train, arts and crafts and whatever else they feature, u will stay busy from sunrise to late night...my pics right now r in Rincon #188, behind my RV is a cliff that overlooks The Oaks camp area...for me, this place is just a giant warm hug, it feels so safe and secure, I'm able to wake up in the middle of the night, sit under the beautiful moon and find such peace Check weather 1st as winds r often so just make sure yr awnings, tents, pop-ups, etc r secure, they aren't bad winds but enough, summers r hot and winters can get cold...had an ice storm last month and now us time to jump into 1 of 3 pools, again call if ur stay includes Saturdays, I believe u need a reservation for pools but just Saturdays Never gers old when all u have to do is make a call to the front, golf cart with cocktails and firewood comes to ur site, u can add to ur bill or bring cash After hrs have vending and ice machines, 24 hr laundry and shower, has wheelchair access everywhere Ohhg, u can go to the front and get life size games to play like chess and Jenna, u take back to ur site, just call what hrs and if ur trying here it's free to use, bur ID is required Website only has partial info and will say sold out often, much better to call So add this to ur travel places, check out the new 2-story tiny houses they just added Talk to JoLee in the office, best help we alway get is giving through her!

We absolutely loved this campground! Turns out it is the same owners as where we store our RV in SD and it shows. The pools, Cafe and activities are so much fun! The things they do and plan for the kiddos is unmatched! Visit this place, it's awesome.

No just RV and a nice Tent area. But if your just wanting to just have a nice weekend getaway! It would be worth it to rent a small RV the pools are walking distance and so are the starting points of the trails. And just a couple of small bundles of Wood for the evening from your local gerosery store. And you'll be glad you did it! A great place to get out of the everyday rat race. Well worth the money spent!

Yes the entrance will cost $5 or $10 to enter and to park close to campsite! Don't forget your MTB bike, lots od single trails and steep hills to discover!
Yes you could have a tent alongside your RV with some nominal fee around $10-15/night. On Jan 1st 2019, new ownership took over and the property is now a KOA. I'm not sure if the tent rule will remain the same as in the past.
No electrical hookups in lower Arroyo seco, so you must have a generator if you are staying in this part of the park. There is water and sewer hookups.

Yes, we took both if our dogs. Both are small so no problem. There was larger dogs there too though.
Yes, but depending where you camp at they will probably get dirty. The lower section is mostly dirt.
