We went camping at Smith & Morehouse campgroung. Love itπ, We Went kayaking at the beautiful lake very close to our site.Everyday it was a blast. We had such and amazing experience with Deb & Del, they are the most awesome couple. When I got there they came out and introduce themselves, I feel that I knew them forever. Very friendly and courteous. Every day the pass by to check on every one 3 or more times a day. They told us they love what they do, and love to meet people. We feel so welcome there. We definitely will camp there more, and hope to see Deb & Del every time. Keep the good work you two. God bless you and your family.π₯°ππHighly recommended.π

We visit Smith and Morehouse Campground every year and Del and Deb are the finest campground hosts we have had anywhere. They are very attentive to any needs you might have and very friendly. Great to visit with and we look forward to seeing them again.

Beautiful campgrounds!! We had site 032 and it was perfect for our 26 ft trailer. Deb and Del are wonderful camp hosts!! Definitely planning our next camping adventure for Smith and Morehouse

The facilities are always clean and lots of trees for shade. I can tent, hammock, or trailer camp here and it's always a good experience. Love to bring the kayaks out and go on the resevoir! The managers of the campground Deb and Del are the best! The multiple times I've been here they've given me tips of what I can find on the trails and what times are best to go kayaking. They are super knowledgeable and fun. They help make the trips I take to this campground a relaxing one!

Very foresty I'm not sure about the open meadows though unless you drive up the mountain towards and on top. But the camp grounds are nicely shaded due to the forestry. And the lake is very nice. I also would highly recommend for a very nice camping experience.
It depends on who your service provider is. I know Verizon does but I wouldn't think T-Mobile works there.
There are tons of people that fish from the shore, it seems good, and you will probably want to go early to get a good spot.
Yes, in some places
I believe you can make reservations. But best to check if they are open.
We had raccoons. Yes ,you can park right by
No, there's no running water in the restrooms. They're vault toilets with no sinks and no showers.
