I didn't stay here we just drove through but it's a very nice place to visit love the big rock candy mountain been coming here since I was a kid.

This place is great for girls camp, I’ve brought them 3x (every other year) the girls love it, it’s their favorite place to camp. The bunks make it convenient for no tents. The priesthood leaders bring their tents . There’s space for their tents. There’s power in the bunks making it nice to bring crockpots and roaster ovens. We brought extension cords and set up tables outside the bunks to connect the pots.

Grounds and the rv spots are nice. Plenty of shade and right by the water. Trails nearby too. Unfortunately the bathrooms and showers are horrible. As soon as you open the door you are hit with a sewage smell. Had to leave the window in the shower room open and let it air out and even sprayed perfume to mask so I could get a shower. There was mold, no toilet paper, the bathroom fan had no cover with exposed wires, showers were dirty. I had to clean the shower before I even used it so I felt a little better about using it. I had my dogs on a lead and unfortunately other neighbors let their dogs run off leash and I had to keep mine put away. We stayed one night as a resting stop on a road trip bjt probably wouldn’t stay again.

Great cabin in the woods. Close to the river and the rock candy express trail. Great for getting away from it all. Good or bad aspects were no wifi in the cabin, no grocery stores or gas station nearby, and very few other people in the area. The cleanliness in the cabin was not to the standards you find in the big hotel chains, but it was okay for a couple of nights. Parking was easy and right next to the cabin. The views of the mountain from the resort can't be beat. We will be back.
