MOSQUITOES!!!!!! We rented a Yurt. It was nice other then it wasn't mosquitoes proof. Those nasty things continued to find ways in all night long. In order to enjoy the camp ground you need multiple layers of clothes, bug coils, and Deet. This camp ground would have been 4 if not 5 stars had we been warned about the bugs so we could have been better prepared. It is a very nice place with alot to offer such as a playground, weekend activities for everyone, rafting, and hikes. We were sadly unprepared even with multiple layers of clothes and family friendly bug dope and had to cut our visit short due to kiddos being eaten alive. It is a great campground with lots to offer, just more enjoyable with a little warning of bugs so you can be more prepared.

We had a blast. A lot of construction and rules but we completely understand. The groundskeeper is awesome and very friendly. The bathroom was extremely clean and perfect for me. I'm very picky and we used the facility and it was clean every time. Just remember to close the door and not let the mosquito 🦟 in. They are vicious.

Great location, great campground and even better hosts/owners! We spent 2 nights there at the end of May and I wish we would have been able to stay longer. I would definitely recommend and would go back. All the campsites are on the scenic river. Some are more private than others, but they definitely had all the amenities. The campground sits way back from the road. Unfortunately, we didn't get to explore all it had to offer, but we enjoyed our time there, nonetheless. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Potable water, dump station available with easy access. They even have a little store and laundry on site. On the end of the second day we had a problem with our rental RV and the owners were quick to come see if they could help and recommended some solid solutions. We had to wait for the rental company to come out and work on the RV so we had to be late checking out. They were more than accommodating and definitely turned the unfortunate situation into a much better one. I was able to relax knowing we were safe and not pressured. If you are looking for a well situated, well appointed campground with great views and amazing owners, I would recommend you check out Tolsona Wilderness Campground. Looking forward to our next adventure in AK and they will be on our list for sure!

Children's camp on parents visiting weekend. Toured Alaska last summer and this was one of the only disappointing stops. I gave a two because the place has the creek and wooded what I had wanted, but surprisingly loud. Too many kids, adults that were on holiday so to speak. I can't honestly recommend this campground
