All around great place. Has a lot for everyone. Hiking paths are nicely marked , restrooms clean/ stocked, and information kiosks were stocked .

The Mill is a wonderful puece of historical treasure that mist people don't know is there. Lots of hiking and riding trails, pet friendly, and a great place to launch for the class 2 to class 4 rapids. It's been almost twenty years since I've been there, and the improvements that have been made recently are great.

One of my most favorite outdoor destinations in Western PA. Grew up just 6 miles from there. Live out of state now. It's always beautiful in the Gorge. Love the Mill & Covered Bridge! A great place to visit.

This place was a lot of fun. The hiking trails were challenging because they're narrow, hilly, slippery, and rocky/slate. There is a hiking trail on both sides of the river. I think the one on the mill side of the river is easier. Either way, if you're a leisurely hiker and we're just in it for the experience more so than the vigor, take it slow or bring a hiking stick for support. Lots of waterfalls, streams, caves and spots for photo ops.

Several people have drowned over the years due to the very strong undertow. I would not recommend swimming anywhere in Mcconnell's Mill State Park. Moraine State Park is literally five minutes from here and they have beaches and pontoon rentals, camping, etc. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SWIM AT MCCONNELL'S MILL!!!!
Is that a question?
Sure can - there's fishing all along slippery rock creek. But be careful and steer clear of the falls
Very limited. Some of the dirt paths might be ok with the heavy duty air tire strollers.
There are boards at most parking lots that have paper maps on them. I believe you can also request them from pa dcnr
There are roads that you can ride a bike on but some of them may be difficult to navigate with a bike. Mountain bike perhaps would work best!
