I love this place. Used to come here and tide bikes quite frequently when my son was little. Walked on the bike/walking trail. So peaceful with the exception of the aggressive bikers (it's a real thing)!

Beautiful park with plenty of options for everyone. There’s bike trails, beaches, playgrounds, hiking trails, and places to fish so everyone is happy. Well taken care of. Been going here for years

Summer Review = 5 stars - Winter Review = 2 stars. My review for summer activities would be a 5; it’s a beautiful park with lots of activities to do like the beach, disc golfing, walking/hiking trails, etc. My review for the winter is maybe a 2. Although the picture I posted looks pretty, it is a picture from the street of the paved snowy walking path. Outdoor physical activity during the winter is not promoted at all! I went to walk there on a beautiful day that fell in February, and the paved walking path was a sheet of ice!!! People were slipping everywhere! I had to walk on the road, which is not safe with how narrow they are! Maybe we should reach out to the committee that runs the Colorado State Parks and take some tips! They clear their walking and biking paths in the State parks as soon as it snows! I was able to walk 5 miles on their paths the day after a major snow storm. Not sure why the paved trails can’t be cleared in the winter??

Great winter hike on a freezing cold day. A little icy but lots of trails. Will return in better weather.

Yes, there are both. The beach has sand and a roped off area to swim. There is also a separate location to rent kayaks or canoes.
Also would like to know this for roughnecking it
You can sail up to a 27’sailboat on lake Arthur
Yes, Horseback riding IS permitted by State Park Authorities. There is, I believe, At least 1 or 2 horse stables located in Moraine State Park or just outside of the Park.
They are pretty much standard issue cabins. No real amenities as far as like hot tubs and such. Bathrooms are regular. Kitchens are normal, but I believe you need to bring your own cookware. The real attraction here is that you are in the park and close to everything, not so much the cabin itself in my opinion.
Yes there are
