The staff and volunteers are kind, compassionate, and helpful. If they can't help directly, they do their best to point you in the direction of someone who can.

The staff is very helpful, friendly, and most of all very respectful to everyone that requires their assistance. They will help if they can. I needed help with my deposit on my new place and once they got most of it they help. with the last part of it.

This is a great place when you're in need for food and clothing.

Although I try not to go there unless I absolutely have to, when I need help, they've always been there for me. They have a pretty good selection, and a clothes closet as well. They CARE about the community and that's important. They NEVER make you feel bad for needing help!

Where is Catholic charities of Lawrence located. They are not across the street and around the corner from the clothing house. I went there today and that building is abandoned.

I actually heard they won't be open until November they're getting a new location. That building that you're talking about they actually sold the building and they haven't been opened for I think a month and a half now when I went to the 4th Saturday of the month Harvesters I asked them because the lady that was running Catholic Charities before was working at Harvesters and she said they would be open after the beginning of November.

Some one told me that you guys could help find housing if i had a job

They helped me with rent and deposit, and I was able to chose my own home.

I've visited the food pantry monthly, I haven't been able to make it there for a while. I just stopped by the house/building on Tennessee st. It looked abandoned.. did you guys move or stop the food assistance program?
