Sorry, I chose the wrong store for my review........note: there is no way to delete it. I shopped in Olathe at the west location and have shopped at this location too, but my issue was with the Olathe location. I will give you a 5 star rating while I am editing my review since I do shop here a lot and I have no complaints or concerns.

I've been doing my grocery shopping at ALDI for the last 4 years, and I like it. It's not like they have a great diversity of products, but they have 90% of what I need at a good price.

I love everything about this store with one exception, the produce. Everything i get from aldi goes bad at a rapid pace. After a little research i discovered that the problem might be the fact that the produce is kept at the entrance and the fluctuations in temperature are the likely culprit. Ill still shop here weekly, just not for produce

I'm in Aldi's loyalist. The store has a very simple setup and layout, even on your first time in here it won't take long for you to figure out where things are and Aldi's is always cheap. Located on Iowa Street practically in the entrance of Lawrence almost just a few blocks up, location is convenient however the parking lot can be a mess especially if it's busy and people are coming in and out, I've seen multiple collisions right in that parking lot, a little bit of a tight squeeze. A small thing I criticize Aldi for is the need of a quarter to get a cart because I always forget to have a quarter on when I go there. And I honestly would prefer self-checkouts, because every time I go there, whether it's for shopping for myself or doing an instacart order.. the lines are generally long and my lines I mean usually only one line is open and it's super long sometimes they have to if it's packed packed but usually just one. And it's always a rush going through it, the cashier rapidly scans your items and tosses them into the cart and it's your job to either bring your own bag or buy bags from the store which don't cost a whole lot of money thankfully, but essentially they rapidly scan it all, throw it in your cart, you pay for it and then you go to the bench across from the cash registers to sack it yourself. Or you can just take your car full of goods outside to your car unload it and rental car back in. Aldi definitely has a very interesting system when it comes to checking people out but I wish they would just get rid of half of their checkout lines because they don't use them all and replace them with self checkouts because if they did that, more people could get in and out of there quicker and there wouldn't be such a holdup at the cash register blocking a lot of people from navigating the front end of the store because of the long lines. Other than that, the quarters and the tight parking lot. Aldi is where I go to buy my groceries, which is why I'm making this review.

I hadn't heard about the rebuild, Glad to hear they are expanding. I doubt they will give anything for traveling.

Yes I agree. You need to call and speak with manager. Email also.
You might want to go by there and see what they they have left in stock.

No. Just cash or card.
Last weeks Aldi flier indicated they would close at 4pm on the 4th of July.
