A great place to be able to pause in life and get into contact with resources to get back on your feet whether having financial problems, mental issues , dealing with addiction or a combination of issues.... if you're not serious about rebuilding yourself and just wanting a free place to stay then probably not a place for you

Pastor Gale and Tim are really good people and the lady who works the front desk in the morning, absolute sweetheart!
Our Random World
Ok I stayed here first of all not alot of the employees respect the fact that I have PTSD from being abused. And I feel like the purposely try to trigger it. I get treated like a child or i am a tweeker here. Alot of of the employees treat me like an actual human being. Yes I do get forgetful but I did really need help.

Relocated here and called saying my toddler and I had nowhere to stay and it was 30 degrees outside. We were told because we were not local (2 hours away) that we would not be given shelter. Basically told to freeze to death instead. Thank you for your compassion. We stayed warm in the car no thanks to the mission.

The rosary is a weapon; a weapon against evil and the foul beings (human or spirit) who prowl the world seeking the ruin of souls!
Hi Ian, What is this in regards to? This will help me get you in contact with the right person. Thanks!
You can stay as long as you want to and yes you can get free bus passes for for work. Otherwise you'll be walking around town.
You can go to Topeka Rescue Distribution ONCE EVERY 2 MONTHS ON Tues days and Thurs. til 3pm. BUT. if u go to Catholic charities. Is connected with so NO double dipping.
No. But TPD will under certain circumstances
I would check with Catholic charities and see if they could help with a bus ticket. I would also call TRM ministries ministries and explain your situation duation they may haveOther information that would be helpful.
Generally it's just furniture and items for the home.
The mission can use all the above-mentioned thank you and God bless
No, sorry but you have to have children before you can be roomed together. That is from Charlotte Amo who works the front desk at the hope center.
Yes. They take donations at the DC
Yes, I believe they will. God bless 🙏
They will definitely split you up if you don't have kids but they won't turn you away if they can help it.
8-4 Monday through Friday. Thanks!
They'll find some room for you and keep your family together.
Who's number are you looking for?
Yes they do accept it but they will have you take it to the warehouse and I don't remember the address. Just go to the front desk and ask the person and they will direct you.
Be there before 7pm
Actually you can stay through the day but if you are not putting effort in to help yourself you won't be allowed to stay at all, although you can still come and eat at regular meal times.
You need an I.D.. but,you can get a free one at the TOPEKA POLICE STATION,now.
Apparently. That's what it is,a Christian homeless shelter.open to all.
Hi Cheryl, No, we do not require an ID to stay at our shelter. If you have any further questions, give us a call at 785-354-1744. Thanks and have a blessed day!
Dont know i have my own place now
Yes
All you can do is go there and ask. I think they allow married couples. Because they have a men side and a women side.
It is better to be there in the morning, but if you have are new this any time.
I hear of people being kicked out from time to time for drinking or using drugs fighting etc i don't know that I've ever heard of anyone being banned for that amount if time tho. The best way to find it would be to call and ask them. She'll want to make sure she's paid any outstanding tickets and resolved any existing warrants if she has any. They check those things when you come in and the police will come in a pretty timely fashion and haul you away. I can't speak from experience but it's pretty well known how they operate over there.
Try looking for oxford housing
Yes, but it may depend on some things. Don't be afraid to call and ask.
Yes they have a program that's is called pant. It will board your cat or dog for 90 days. Call libby she runs this program
Go to front desk to check in. First come first served. Lockers and dresser used for storage when dorm assignment issued. Np more than 2 duffle bags or suitcases usually allowed. The mission is located at 600 N. Kansas Ave just on the north side of the Kansas river
