I really appreciate the work the employees do here. However, when I came here they were closed. The reason I stopped was the mess that someone had left. There was a suitcase full of wet clothes and very dirty kids toys that was dumped out and thrown everywhere. My friend Tammy and I stopped and picked everything up and threw it in the trash!! I don't understand why someone would do that to a place that just tried to help the public.

For Food Assistance we are doing everything over the phone right now due to COVID. You can call Monday - Friday from 9am - 1pm for an intake and then come by to pick up the food by 2pm that day. Our number is (785) 357-5341. Clothing assistance right now is only on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am - 1pm and you do have to have an appointment ahead of time. You can call the day before and get an appointment.
