It’s frustrating to arrive at 6:16 am and the lobby still locked. The sign says 6:00 am open. It is difficult for me to make it back to the post office during that is why I stop by on my way into work. Just paid box fee and if I can’t get to it is a waste of money. Come on Grant Ville get it together!!

Terrible service! Have a small business and an unfortunately I have to use their services every day. Part of the staff that works at this office are extremely rude and not helpful at all. A girl named Mariel never smiles and refuse any assistance when I asked her to help me track some packages and it’s always so rude in her communication. The supervisor named Ken is so lazy and unprofessional and not wearing a name tag! He turned his back and just walked away while I was asking him a question. No wonder that the staff looks unhappy at this location!

Large USPS location with an ample amount of parking. Building is clean, well kept, and well lit. Besides the physical aspects, the customer experience out of this location is overall poor. Customer service desk always has a line with only one or two registers open. I specifically was opening a new P.O box and my experience relates to the entire span of renting. Opening a new P.o box was a back and forth of documents needed with no clear directions or guidance really provided. The clerk was rude and shaming because I was not completely clear on the process and did not care to explain much. Checking the box however is more of a seamless process as you can be in and out without talking to anyone. Finally, when I was ready to close my P.O box after a year I went in and asked a clerk what the process is and he exclaimed, "fill out a new address form and it will close it." I was a little confused especially after the original process was so tedious how could this be it? After filling out the form I asked if he was going to take back the keys, and after not realizing initially he asked for them back and that was it. Now, a month has passed and I found a charge on my bank statement for the monthly P.o box. The workers at this location are very rude and short with you just trying to move the line, while not being very knowledgeable on their process either. I will now be returning to this location to attempt to close this P.O box once and for all. Wish me luck!

If looks could kill. This location has a couple mean ladies working there. One middle aged hispanic female employee was staring at a complaining customer. I was pretty sure the employee was going to beat her up at some point. Maybe later. My suggestion is at this location, keep your head down and try not to go to the customer service desk. We now have to pay the post office for a private box because I'm also sure our mailman was stealing packages instead of delivering them at my home address. My envelopes would be open. I've had 2 packages stolen from my box. One time he left the whole box for the whole complex open and unlocked with several packages inside. And no one answers the phone when you try to get them to come out and re-lock it. Now we have to pay 40 bucks a month at the post office and we still get junk mail too! You'd think for that price we'd have safety, securty, and no junk mail ...

I am not sure
I've been going there for my eBay business about 13 years now. Before that, I went to the Santee Branch for 17 years. So between those 2, Santee blows them out of the water At the Grantville office, it's 100% about timing. I've been in & out (mailing a few packages) in under 5 minutes with the happiest, prettiest & most pleasant clerk I've ever met. But I've had times it's taken me over an hour for the exact same reason, and I've been treated poorly, (not bad enough to make a complaint). Plus it seems that they change front desk clerks at least once a year. The best thing I can say about it, it's just 8 minutes from my home. Plus mailing a sealed letter to a friend who lives 2,850 miles away, still a good deal for 55¢.

Go to the post office and ask them to put a hold on your mail so the carrier doesn' t try and deliver it
