Loved the campground and the Host. Clean, gorgeous lake. There’s even a swimming dock in the middle of the lake. Clear water. Saw Loons with their baby. The host gave the kids Smoky the Bear stuff. Made their day. This is going on our top campgrounds list.

Beautiful lake and surrounding area, nice clean camping areas with easy access to the lake. The main restaurant is awesome as well with good people, food and environment. Definitely recommend.

We happened to be at this campground on the most perfect last day of summer. Absolutely stillness gave the mirror finish of Bonaparte Lake an enchanted feel. A family of ducks silently glided on the water near the beach. The unoccupied swimming dock appeared to hover in the air in the reflection of Spur Mtn. A quiet hush fell over the whole campground. Though conversations continued, it's like they were muted.
