Really wasn't a fan. No alcohol allowed on premises, but they don't tell you until you arrive. Way too many rules. My disabled mother has a golf cart to ride to bathrooms and showers, but they wouldn't let her ride it. Telling her it is not allowed as they are driving one. Not enough showers, huge camp ground with hundreds of people, but only 2 showers so expect LONG lines. not enough dumpsters.

We have been coming here off and on for years. It's a great setting. We were very disappointed in the lack of upkeep. We got there on Thursday and the portopotty were a disaster and the dumpsters were overflowing. That wasn't addressed until Saturday we actually left a day early and we will not likely return anytime soon.

No. Cell service is virtually nonexistent also. A little slice of Heaven.
It's low, but that makes it great for kayaking, paddleboarding etc. because there's fewer boats on the lake. Probably sucks for boaters there tho.
Due to covid-19 no boat rentals. the new caretakers are amazing
Oh yes this place is huge. Big boat ramp, just try to only use the bathroom by the marina. The other one is pretty stinky.

Its been a good handshake and hollar since you asked, but based on what I recall from a few seasons back- they restrict access to renting sites and utilizing showers during the last three months of the year. Typical of most places in these parts. Now, that isn't to say you run through for a day trip. You find they still allow for an open gate and access down to the lake even in these chillier months.
