Great San Diego outdoor patio dinning with great food. Everything came out exceptional. Eating on the patio in balboa park at the Prado is a mini vacation in itself! Sandwiches are only available at lunchtime. My only complaint is they add an extra 4% surcharge because prices have increased; I wish the prices on the menu reflect that instead of adding the extra 4% at the end.

We ate lunch here a few years ago and according to my wife I was underwhelmed. Tonight we were tired from trekking around balboa Park so we decided to give it a go for dinner. We were not disappointed!. The Pradoritas were fabulous. Our server Alex was top notch. I had the braised short ribs, my wife the sea bass. The presentation was eye popping, and the sauces were exquisite. Great desserts and coffee to finish off. Loved the ambiance. 10/10 would go again.

My favorite restaurant in San Diego. I'm a San Diego Native and recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly! The waitstaff is amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and quick to serve you. Everything I've had at this restaurant has been well-prepared and full of flavor. Portions are just right; it is on the pricey side, but the food is worth it. The ambiance is delightful, warm and welcoming. You will not regret dining here. Restaurant is a great choice for lunch as well. Ask for a patio table!

Good place for a lunch while visiting Balboa Park. The food was pretty good and the service was awesome. The patio had a nice view. My entree salad lacked balance, being way to heavy on the vinegar and nothing to offset the tartness. My wife had the Mahi fish sandwich, which was delicious. The bread was a small baguette, served warm with butter. And, the Guava lemonade was super refreshing and delicious. I'd recommend this place and would go again.

Yes
it Is our regular menu on the Sunday after. Thank you
I am not sure. But call the restaurant to make reservations
Balboa Park has a few lots near the organ pavilion, Ruben H Fleet Science Center, and Sports Hall of Fame (I think that's the name). Easily walkable. You can also park at Inspiration Point for a tram ride, or a longer (but very reasonable) walk. https://www.balboapark.org/plan/parking
Hi Pam, The Prado does have a covered front patio section that is pet friendly but we always welcome certified service/support animals. Thanks and we hope to see you and your furry friends soon! The Prado Team
I would just ask the restaurant why. But I agree lunch is walk in, I believe.
Yes, but not sure how much, guess its below 10$
Never to early,go directly to the Restaurant, and make your reservation.
We do serve lunch and dinner. We do a wonderful holiday brunch for Mothers's day and Easter Sunday.
Gift cards should never expire. Call them.
We've eaten there many times without a reservation, however, it likely will be busy later in the day. 2-3pm is about as late as we've been there without a reservation. If it's later than that, might start to get hectic. You can try your luck. Love their food and service.
Quite possibly I don't see a problem with that but you might want to double-check with the management first.
