Walk-in patient. Brought in everything that was required. I had a good experience. The wait time was better than other doctors offices I've been to, though that could vary if you're a walk-in. Probably best to make an appointment but I didn't have any problems. The doctor was kind and understanding. Staff was extremely nice. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Thank you Cal Med. ***Update. Came back for my renewal. Like my last visit, a nice experience. Thanks again for everything CalMed421!!

I went here November 2014 n loved it. Nice n welcoming staff. Great patient n understanding dr I need to get reestablished n will be going back soon. I tell everyone to go here. :-) :-) :-)

Staff is abusive to patients with mental illness. Stay away! I drove a friend to renew her prescription and she felt berated and demeaned. They have no idea how to treat the mentally ill. Shame on you, Calmed.

What did I expect from a marijuana clinic? I was hesitant for a long time to try cannabis for chronic pain relief. Unfortunately I don't tolerate opiates well at all and my pain was not getting any better. Just to be clear, yes, I am an actual person with serious and documented medical condition in search of better tolerated pain relief alternative to opiates. That when I was recommended to try cannabis. But, despite a fact that I am CA resident for over a decade, no, I never smoked anything and so are any of my friends. My only association with cannabis was dirty couches, with few semi aware people on them, I saw few times at some random parties. It is why I hesitated. I have a real problem..Can I seriously count on help from this crowd? But I was hurting and decide to try.. As soon as I walked in I was met with evaluating stare from a receptionist. That was not welcome reception. She did not introduce herself, she was dry and ask for id. Whole interaction was strained and made me very uncomfortable. Even though resident for over a decade, as I said already, I didn't have CA Id with me, but I had other government picture ID and CA car registration etc, several ways to proof my residence. However, she insisted on CA Id only as if anything other than old CA DL overwhelms her mental capacity. I tried to help, and gave her a hint that there has to be a list with documents she can accept, just like every federal and local government has one and I like to see it. Obviously, my request was too much for her, she already reached her intellectual capacity and all she can say is she can't show me anything and she needs CA ID, over and over again. All while continuing to maintain her constipated and intimidating demeanor .. A doctor, who witness all of this, didn't interfere, didn't put her in her place, ..did nothing at all.. I ran out, if this what marijuana does to people, it is just too high price for pain relief.
