I picked up a 6 inch cake today for my daughter 11 months Birthday. The store looked very fancy, so I thought the cake would be really good! The price was little higher, however I was just looking for a good taste cake so that I can order that for my daughters 1 year birthday! I must say I am really disappointed. The cake was too much sweet! Simply non edible! None of the guests could eat a full slice! What a waste of money. I could have take a cake from Ralphs for much cheaper price. At least it would have been edible!

They always have a wide selection of cupcakes. We’ve tried their signature cake - the red velvet - and it’s delicious. They usually have free samples available. The staff is awesome - so warm and friendly.

Where has SusieCakes been all my life? I actually came here after looking for baked goods elsewhere. It was 12 minutes away from my location and in a very nice neighborhood during my travels. I am so glad I did! The minute you enter, you are hit with the most amazing aroma of fresh baked goods and pictures won't do justice to the bakery case. Whole, assorted cakes, which they gladly offer by the slice, and many other baked good are filling the case. You can see the bakers in the back assembling more cakes while you fill your order. All I can say is be prepare your taste buds for joy and elation! I did ask if they have other locations and gladly they have others. Just get there before me!

Stopped by here after having lunch in the area. Pros: -Nice, clean interior -Good selection -Staff seemed friendly (...but slow) Cons: -My piece of cake was too fluffy for my taste. There are better places out there....like Nothing Bundt Cakes. Much better texture and frosting at Nothing Bundt Cakes. -2% Surcharge automatically added to bill to cover 'employee health insurance expenses.' Seriously? Welcome to California. It's counter service, and my slice of cake was already $6.50. How about the owner takes a pay cut to pay for their employees' health insurance...that would be fair (I am sure they make a great profit with these prices). It's also the principle of the thing. As if they have the need to express 'why' they want to charge a surcharge. I would rather not be confronted by it and have them roll that 'charge' into their prices instead. It's not my business what they pay for their employees or not. Less important: -No trash cans outside to dispose waste. - they give out mouthwash-sized water cups if you want water. I don't think I will be coming back.

We do health screenings daily for all of our team members including temperature checks, and we sanitize all shared surfaces at least every hour. We are working with much smaller teams in the bakeries, and are keeping our front and back of house teams separate to limit exposure. We have also limited our bakeries to one guest allowed in at a time, and have a table set up at the front so you do not need to come all the way in to the bakery. Our guests service teams working with the guests wear both masks and face shields and are constantly washing their hands.
We currently make a 9" Flourless Chocolate Cake that is available for pre-order.
