Good swim teachers, good Jr. Lifeguard program. But: swim lessons and pool need to be available all year long since in CA and the slides should be open daily, not just the weekend. Was more accessible before the poor judgement of Government shut down.

Facility is nice and clean, pools are big and they have a splash pad. The only thing is that one of the teenage life guards had a power trip, he was constantly yelling at the kids
happy news
Attention Residents & Non Residents take your business elsewhere, this center not only went up on their public recreational pool prices ($7)! BUT, they ALSO reduced their hours!! How are they going to reduce their hours and keep the same high prices! What a rip off! They use to be open through out the week and weekends, but then they changed it to only weekends, but guess what? They not only charge higher prices, but now, as of 5/14/22, you get to only swim for 4 HOURS! 4 HOURS! But wait, by the time you get to the window to pay, you've already waited an hour just to get in (because they only have two windows open to pay!), so technically, you only have 3 hours of swim time. It use to be open from 12pm-5pm, now they are only open from 12pm-4pm on Sat & Sun. And guess how my family and I found out (along with everyone else)? We found out as we were in the pool last Saturday when all of a sudden, they blew the whistle and told everyone to get out of the pool because they were closed! Totally catching everyone off guard...absolutely disgusting. The Fontana Park Aquatic Center does not value their guests at all, they only value your money. Why would they be open for only four hours, when the day light hours are longer now? At least be open until 5 or 6pm. And why not even offer recreational public night swim? How cool would that be? Anyhow, life has shown that greed never wins in the end and when a business doesn't value or consider their customers, that business will lose profit in the end. It's that simple. In addition, pay attention to all the reviews written. There are no recent good reviews. They are all dated years ago (1 or more years). Why? because back then they use to be a wonderful facility, but now, they've allowed Greed to get the best of them and leaving patrons not getting their monies worth...what a sham.

They are doing swimming lessons now, but it opens for public swimming for a charge this Saturday on May 14. I think Saturdays only for now.
The area is open however the pool is not open for recreational swim.
Not yet. It's currently only available to club swim. FAC worked very hard with the city to develop a reopening plan. We're hoping the pool can use our model, but we're still testing this plan.
The kids pool starts at 2ft 3ft at the rope then goes to I believe 4 1/2 ft .The larger pool starts at 4ft then 7ft on to I believe is 15ft or 17ft

No, floaties are not allowed in the center. If a child can not swim a parent must be with them at all times. Their splash pad is lots of fun for the toddlers. If they go in the kiddie pool you have to be with your toddler.
Yes its true depend on what they have going fo that weekend
