I've always come to Torrid for the Shoes. They are one of the best places for larger sized shows. The clothes are NOT flattering for Plus sized women. Many of the outfits have patterns (stripes & Polka dots) that just aren't flattering on a larger figure. There are SOME decent blouses but when you see the cost of almost $50 for a simple tank it just isn't worth it. This store takes advantage of women who cannot find their sizes elsewhere. They charge ridiculous prices for basic clothes just because they know these ladies will just buy it because it's hard to find in other stores. I'm ok with spending the money on the shoes when they are on sale because they are actually made very well... but the clothes are too basic for the price. If you want a pair of jeans with a matching top you ate for sure paying more than $100. The women that work here are all very kind and helpful. They offer help and they offer to get a fitting room rift away for you. They are very attentive.

When I walked in two of the workers just looked at me-didn't even greet me- didn't say hello; I had to say hi to them first. Then I asked about some pants and they directed me to where the pants were and then when other customers came in, they offered them the Torrid discount of the day/week, but didn't me. Bias!

Very friendly staff, I have came here twice in a year to exchange or return pants that didn't fit my teen daughter well and the staff have always been very supportive and caring to my daughter as well as my self as her dad. It feels very nice to walk into a store where you don't have to be looked at like some creepy guy in the woman's clothing section lol! I go through this all the time at other stores when I shop with my daughter who is on the Autism spectrum. At Torrid I don't feel like that at all and as a father who is simply trying to be there for his daughter even for clothing shopping, this is something I always look forward to coming to shop here. If you even want to shop somewhere where you won't be judge by how you look? This is the place!

Yes, they do bra fittings. You can ask any employee to do it, but if one of them seems weird about it, go ahead and ask whoever else is there to help instead. When you're trying them on, remember to adjust the straps and use the hooks at the end of the band (because it will stretch after a few wears/washed), and let them know how it fits, so you can get the right size. Don't get discouraged, sometimes a bra fitting takes a few tries 😊 I'm speaking as a former employee. Good luck! 💖
Yes, you need the packing slip to make a return to the store, or the receipt on your email for the order. They need the order number from one of those If paid with paypal, you can only get your money back on a gift card. If you want the money back to your paypal account, you must ship it back instead.
