Really beautiful and quiet, I went on a Friday and there was almost no one super peaceful. The view was also super pretty and the water was super clean. There were also ducks, turtles, and fish. Surprisingly the lake was actually really big and you could walk around it.

We had it to ourselves basically on a lazy Sunday 2 weeks ago. Javier fished the whole Lake. 4 hours or more. Quiet and clean. Well go again.

My dog Gypsy loves this park..she hates to get wet but the duck wouldn't quit quacking at her so she jumped in after it not knowing she would get wet. So so funny when she wanted right back out. Good news is that she can swim

My family and I love coming here because of the ducks! There's also ponies and chickens you can see from a person's backyard! Don't feed them if you go. There is also a sign on their gate stating that :) sometimes they walk their ponies around the lake too, very cool to see! You can also fish here if you have a permit but it's only 2 fish per person if you go.
I think its catch and release but I'm not 100% sure. Regardless you shouldn't eat it. It's super hard to catch fish here though. If you ever catch one your lucky
A CA department of Fish & Game fishing license is the only thing required.
>>CA Dept. of Fish and Game Stocking Schedule
Laguna Lake is stocked by the California Department of Fish and Game. Fish stockings are dependant on weather conditions and may be rescheduled. Please note that no specific dates or times are given for stockings and the Fullerton Parks and Recreation Department is not responsible for these stockings. A fishing license is required at all times for ages 16 and over. <<
The California Dept. of fish and wildlife does not specify exact dates and times of stocking to prevent excessive fishing. I got this answer by googling, how often does laguna lake stock fish.
Yes, a lot of Bass(catch and release on Bass)Plenty of Bluegill for kids to fish. Trout and Catfish when it is in season they tend to stock a fair amount.
Many man-made lake systems are dyed during the Summer months to reduce the amount of sunlight that reaches the lakebed. Reducing sunlight keeps algae and other water plants from getting out of control and clogging pumps.

The lake is blue for a very different reason than why the sky is blue.
