Like any Government office. They say they can't do there job but if you stick with it they eventually have to do their job. A squeaky wheel gets greased. Good luck!

First of all, the line outside was horrible, and from what I've heard, is completely inefficient and not necessary. I find it outrageous that we did not have enough information for "first time testers" on the website. All that was said to be required was a passport OR a birth certificate. Not only were we told that the birth certificate was required, but proof of my father being my own. As well as mail in my name? Why would I have mail in my name and what happens if I dont have any? Now Ive got to get the missing documents that werent stated on the website, and head back to the dmv to wait 2 to upwards of 3 hours from the line tripling by the time I left. Started at 8, left at 11. Disappointing and unprofessional. I appreciate how unsympathetic the lady who was working there was. "I dont control the website" Well neither do I. If the roles were reversed, and she had to wait in line for 2 hours to be shut down in 30 seconds, she would of freaked out. Just talking to her she felt very passive aggressive. Gives us the general idea of whos hired.

Went to DMV Temecula Monday, arrived 5 am 2 people ahead of me, got our RV semi registered pending vin inspection. Brought RV today Friday arrived 5 am first in line, told after inspection I have to get in the long line wrapping around building to complete the registration! I am elderly with bad knees and bowel issues so I had to leave as no legal spots on the street to park a large RV. So made appt for another city next week. Seems wrong! Never returning here again!

I’m 18 and went in to take the test everything was pretty good up until the actual test. The guy that I was with must of thought I was a robot with how strict he was. I failed due to not “regularly” checking my mirrors and blind spot even tho I’m 100% sure I did when merging into middle lanes and looking around at stop signs. I do not recommend I’ll be honest I was devastated when I failed. I’m going to try hemet next heard they are far more realistic with their grading.

Can I change my address at the Temecula dmv
You can go online to the dmv website or go into the dmv office
I was there on Friday at 7:15 am and there was only 10-15 people in line. I was the third person they called. I was out of there and completely done by 8:45, but I had to take three tests that day.
You can make an appointment, or just go in. You take a test, and if you pass you get the permit. Male sure to get the drivers handbook
Yes. It is open from 8AM to 5PM.
I went on Weekday it was packed. I didnt bring all my paperwork so i had to go back on the weekend way less packed
Yes
It will go faster since you did the documents online. Be sure to bring them. I would make an appointment. I've heard Hemet and Norco have a smaller wait if you can drive there.
Or go late in afternoon. I waited 30 minutes is all
It is best to make an appointment
That's a question I have to say is ask the dealer or DMV.
Yes, better to, otherwise the wait time for walkin's is hours!
I don't know but call the DMV
The website says yes. Here's a link https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/vehicle-registration/updating-information-on-your-registration/
Yes, the only thing that requires an appointment is the behind the wheel driving test or a Person-to- Person Oral examination fir the instruction permit.
Yes, but plan to wait several hours. If you can wait a week or two, much better to make an appointment.
Call the 800 number first and they can check to see if it was mailed to you or not, if it was and its been over 30 days then make an appointment to go in so they can order a new one for you
If you dont remember your appt. Time then you might have to call
No but Yes .. it make it faster and easier
Yes you certainly can. Love the hours here. They open at 7am weekdays except for Wednesday. It's @9am
As far as I know AAA is not doing them anymore because they had so many problems you have to go to the DMV
Yes if you want to. You can do a walk-in too. Sometimes, lines are long either way.
Yes they do...
I am NOT the DMV . . . just another citizen requiring their services
You can you have to go online and reenter your information Or make an appointment If you walk in you could have quite a wait Is deadly worth making an appointment or doing online.
Well that depends on your driving instructor, but usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour
There are no walk in appointments. You must schedule it online beforehand or get in line and wait your turn. Appointments are much faster.
You would also do this type of change online, very simple steps to follow, without the annoying long lines at the DMV.
Just go tell the DMV and they will reissue a new one.
Pay your registration fee and make sure vehicle will pass smog. They wont register if vehicle doesn't have passing smog certificate. Also your vehicle wont pass smog if check engine light is on...
For fees best to check the dmv website
Technically, no. There is a long list of acceptable documents to get an ID card. Go to: DMV.ca.gov/portal/driver-licenses-identification-cards/identification-id-cards/ From here scroll down to How to Apply for an ID Card and click on "acceptable identity document (PDF)"
Definitely. Go to the website to check out what days are available
Smog cks are only good for 90 days at day of issue. Sorry!
Call them
Either appointment or go very early like 0600 and they open at 0700.
That would depend on what caused the suspension. You need to contact D.M.V ask about the suspension and find out what you need to do. You may need to contact a lawyer.
You may also take it into>a DMV office, if you prefer.) If you are changing your name on your registration (not correcting it), you must submit your REG 256 and 227 forms, evidence of ownership, and duplicate certificate of title fee in person to a DMV office to complete the process.
Yes you can just show up and ask for one or just tell them that's all you need
You don't need an appointment but it sure speeds things up. If its a vehicle release of liability, I have been able to do that online. Another thing you might try is calling mid morning and if there is a long wait the will call you back and they could walk you through the paper work of what's needed. Maybe you don't need to go in. Calling was very helpful in my case
We arrived a half hour early and still had to wait for 45 minutes in line still to enter the office. And We got to the office at 7:30 AM . The later you get there , the harder it is to find a parking .
You might want to call the dmv or check online services. And also ask your finance company if they sent it out, they should signoff pink slip, then you request a new one and it will show a clear title
Certificate for what???
I lost mine and was able to go online to apply for a new one...actually the REAL Id one. As long as you know your DL number
They're offering extensions online.
they made it to were you need a new ID to fly but as Amanda Hope said your best bet would br to call TSA, they would be better to serve you about anything that has to do with flying.
Better to make an appointment. No waiting inside. Once you get a number, you have to wait outside 😢😷
They are not accepting new appointments for anything other than Behind the Wheel driving tests at this time. They have expanded eligibility for renewing licenses online though. If that won't work for you, you will have to go wait in line. For what it's worth, the wait was not nearly as long as I expected and all COVID-19 protocols were being followed.
You can also go Temecula DMV website and it posts how long the wait is.
It's an online application through the DMV portal
Yes
We were told no appointments were available. I suggest getting there by 11:00am and be prepared to be available for the next 4 hours.
I just walked in. I applied for a RealID and was in and out in an hour on a Friday afternoon, even with all the people there. Just prepare as much paperwork online as possible before going to streamline the process.
That can cost btw $35 to $46. Check here https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/driver-licenses-identification-cards/replace-your-driver-license-or-identification-dl-id-card/online-duplicate-driver-license-request/
Yes, you need an appointment but they are no longer accepting new appointment online. You can either stop at the DMV to get a new appointment OR You can go in early and be seen the same day but you are going to be there for a while.
They are not currently taking appointments. My recommendation is to get there before 6:30am and the wait goes pretty quickly once you're checked in. If you're going for a real ID, make sure you apply online first and bring all your documents. Hope it was helpful.
Igot there at 8 am wasnt seen till 12:30pm to get my license renewed and car registered.they have tents out there.
You don't need one, but it will expedite your visit immensely.
Card preferably as we are running out of coins, they might not give you exact change
Schedule an appointment online and go in directly to the office. Don't stay in line. They will take care of you
Call the dmv
You should go in for sure. The earlier you go in the better.
It's definitely passed 30 days. It's best to set an appointment if it's not to far out, but if you don't it's best to go in the morning that way you will be taken care of that day and not turned away for going to late because there are already a lot of people waiting. Its happened to me twice.
https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/how-to-9-register-a-vehicle-from-out-of-state-nonresident-vehicle/ That link should answer your question
Temecula DMV is the best one in the area. They are nice and very helpful. And they have the shortest waiting time. Big plus in my book. Study hard for your test you will pass.👍
Yes, the written one. My son was there yesterday, without appointment. In 45 minutes he was done with everything.
You can't yet... Only way to renew is to create an account online with DMV and apply for the Real ID... Upload documents required the website will give you a code to take to DMV make sure you take the documents to the DMV along with the code they give you and you can renew your Drivers license then.
No appointments are being made unless your getting a real ID. If applying for a real ID. You must do it online then upload all required documents then a screen will appear saying STOP and give you a code to take to DMV. make sure to take all uploaded documents to DMV then they will let you in to get your Real ID.
Yes, there is
They said no..
No. But you can e-file online for the real id fast pass you don't have to get a real id. whatever it is your trying to do. And it will give you a confirmation. Take it to the DMV and they will see you
You can renew online. See if this link works for you. https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/driver-licenses-identification-cards/driver-license-id-card-online-renewal/
Yes but you have to make a online application for the real id fast pass and get the number after application
You should be able to change your address online by logging into DMV's website. There are certain restrictions (listed on the website), but most likely you're clear I would assume.
No
You don't need one, but it's recommended as otherwise you may be stuck there a lot longer
I don't know about a dupe. Just go in and ask them. I heard that the Hemet DMV is usually not crowded
What question?
I'm. not informations
Must go in person
I believe it's still $37
Yes you have a better chance of getting seen by them if you walk in rather than wait till your appointment.
You can go online to make an appointment or you can just call.
Nobody is required. Not neccessary unless you wish to fly to different locations in the United states.
No bigger than 3/8
Must be done before registration/tags expire, or all fees and penalties will be due.
You can come to the office. Of course, it's more convenient to do it online.
How about ur insurance or a recite form where u pay rent. Try those.
Make an appt for a different office.
I would say mid morning to afternoon. Also, Mondays, Fridays, and the day after holidays are very busy, as well as first of month when a lot of people get paychecks. Better to make an appointment unless you can't wait. I retired from DMV 12 years ago and now operate a driving school, G & G Driving School, LLC in which I take students there several times a month for the driving test.
Yes
Your going to need to bring 2 proofs of residency, social security card, original birth certificate or passport. And yes we do vehicle registration as well , your going to want to obtain a smog and vehicle verification , the verifications are done at the dmv underneath the carport outside lane bring your out of state registration and title if you own the vehicle.
You can use the rush title process for initial registration of a vehicle, transfer of ownership, or to obtain a duplicate California Certificate of Title
Yes, just the written and vision tests will be required, as well as the fee which I believe is $37. Your Minnesota license will waive the behind-the-wheel driving test. I retired from the California DMV and now operate a private driving school.
They have a website that you can fill an application online for drivers license and id card only. It's new, than you dont have to wait in long line. If you go in, they have you fill it on-line computers now, it's new too
You can just in. Ez
I would look at the DMV website and search on accepted methods of payment.
This most likely means you will need to go to the dmv in person to renew your license
You can make an appointment but thay can be rude at times..not always giving the right info...for example I need to register my motorcycle and they had no info on how to do it...and was rude about it..and I also.toik my kid to get her permit and they had everything they needed do to the fact that she has a real I'd card ..they had me go back home and get the rest of the stuff that they asked for..then I got some one new when I got back and then was told that I did not need it do to the fact that she had a real Id card....weasted a full day to them not knowing there jobs
No, must use true full legal name.
No
If there are instructions that speak Spanish pregnant with confidence
Depends on age over 35 eyes test only below 35 written test ete check Dmv change rules and laws every year Good luck
Yes you do without it no registration
If you fail first time 2weeks secont time fail 45 days third time fail 6 months then you have to apply again( new application)
Yes they have paper test. You just have to ask.
they can give you a new one but you have to personally go to the dmv to request it,,,,
There is 3 in the area. 1 in temecula 1 in hemet and 1 in riverside. As for your question why.... uhmm because...
Yes !they open half a day. 8:00am to 12:00 pm .
I don't really know
I believe either 30 or 90 days after permanent residence.
I would think birth certificate.
Answer?
Everyone who comes into the Dmv that renews there Dl gets an eye test in office.
Yes
No
Mine took 2 weeks
No. But it is best to have 1
No but it certainly helps your wait time
I guess you can but it will take no less than two hours
You can order it on line i think
What Brandon said
No drive test by appointment only
Yes, previous replies all good advice! Always better to make an appointment to avoid a long wait.
That's a broad ? What happens in general nothing? If you get pulled over you may get a ticket. If you try to get into something were u need an I'd well your not getting in. No fees for a dl it is a privalage not a right.
Sunday's . Best to make an apt. I say Sundays because they are closed.
Fees must be up update vehicle must b insured. Unless on non p.o.. DMV will give u 3 one day permits to pass smog
Yes u can get 3 one day passes if your truck is on non p.o.. U can use them within the next 60days
Should not take more then 30 days. Call the 1800 num 1st they can tell you what the hold up is.
Have to first pay current year gees and penalties to get moving permit to get it smogged.
Avoid the hassle of going into dmv you can pay on line or by telephone
Thank You Remy!
Its the same process tht anyone else would go thru to apply you will need you original birth cert, 1 proof of residency , and your social security card if you have any name changes you will need to present proof of them ie marriage certificate etc. and a written test
No but you might be waiting HOURS without one!
No but its best to.
You can take it off of non-op whenever you want to.
Need the original death certificate and title to the vehicle, there is a form called a Reg 5 Affidavit for transfer without probate that can be downloaded from the website, bring original marriage certificate just in case but i do not believe that it is required as long as the reg 5 is complete and she is the soul beneficiary of the estate. Also need a Reg 256 statement of facts that can be downloaded as well. Then they will be able to transfer the vehicle into her name or she can sign it over for him to whomever she wishes to give the vehicle to.
Try later today, if the system is up and working they will honor your appointment. If youre unable to make it back the same day, try calling the 800 number, sometimes you get lucky and someone has cancelled an appointment and you can get that appointment that might be for the next day or so. Last resort is just walking in and waiting in line. Best to do it in the afternoon around 3 or after if you know you're not taking a test.
Yes, even the driver license if you are eligible to renew by mail. Will be required to register and open an account, though.
Yes you can if you're willing to wait a long time. Its $21, go to the dmv website and fill out a REG 156 form and bring that in.
Yes for a couple of hrs..
Yes, for about two hours, back up and running now
No
We dont do background checks on your license, the only thing we offer, is a record printout commonly reffered to as a H6 printout or k4 printout
Your going to have to come in so i would schedule an appointment download the form from home and bring it in with filled out form number REG 156
If you've had any accidents or tickets in the last three years then you might be required to take an 18 question renewal exam. If you're converting to the REAL ID make an appointment and make sure you go to the DMV website and have all the correct documents together, originals no photocopies, current and valid passport if you're using that, and whatnot
You have to take your car to a smog inspection station and then they usually electronically send the certificate to the dmv. If you're renewing your registration, pay online and do the smog and your tags will come to you in the mail.
Make an appointment, bring in the documents you originally brought in(birth certificate or passport) original, no photo copies, they will fix it at no charge as long as it hasn't been over a year ir whatever. Be aware of REAL ID act that went into effect January 22 this year.
Yes, 8:00 to 5:00 but come early, very long wait times
No we do not administer the riding test the closest dmv that does the skills test is the hemet dmv
Yes you can go to any Dmv in the State of Cali.
Bring a proof of residency and a social security card/passport. You can make an appointment online or just walk in.
Yes
