Best in the area! 2 large lifts operating simultaneously. The ONLY after 4 PM (night time) skiing in the area! Groomed & I groomed runs. Great ambiance & friendly staff. National Ski Patrol conducts its training here! Great, safe skiing for all ages. The “ Crazies” go to Timberline. Reasonable lift prices. You’ll love it!

Our team had a great day skiing. The snow was great with some ice patches. Love to go there.

Went on a Monday (Valentines Day) and the place was desolate. Got about 3-4 runs in before seeing another skier. At the height of the day, there were only 20-30 folks on the slopes. Trails aren’t well-maintained (compared to Timberline) and all of the trails past Weiss Meadows 1 were closed. They only had the Weiss Quad lift open but that was enough with the few people skiing. I never had to wait in line, just up and down the mountain all day. The lift is pretty slow, it pushes about 10 min, twice as much time compared to Timberlines new 6-man lift which will rocket you up the mountain in ~5 min. Thankfully, the day was redeemed by 4” of fresh powder from the night before and a $30 lift ticket due to Food Bank Mondays. Donate a non perishable food item and get a lift ticket for only $30! It’s truly a steal of a price!

My wife and I had a wonderful time here. I'd highly recommend. We visited on a Friday and Saturday. While Saturday was a bit busier, you really didn't feel it. We never waited long for the lifts, and there was always plenty of room coming down the runs. There was a long wait for lunch at the lounge, but they have a large cafeteria with food to purchase as well; this is what my wife and I opted to do. $30 for chicken strips, a cheese burger, 2 fries, 2 drinks. A bit pricey for what you get in my opinion, but not bad food. The staff was very nice as well.

Yes - we were just there Christmas week. Canaan has one of only 3vtubing areas in the state. Great fire pit outside and full indoor area with snacks and fireplace to warm up
Yes sure

Pretty fast... It's sortta rowdy. My 8 year old and 12 year old love it (because they are oblivious to the danger). My 4 year old is not allowed to go. And we wear ski helmets. No you cannot control your own speed. Blackwater Park has a real long sled riding run where you are. Much more in control.
It's pretty busy around here at Christmas and New Years. I would suggest making reservations now if you wish to visit. And there is always natural snow that time of year. They may make additional snow for the ski slopes though.
Depends on your stay and activity, size of room. The question is too broad to speculate
8:30 to 4:30 midweek and this Sat & Sun only at 8:30 to 6:00
