We took a family day trip to fish here. It was very windy But we still had a great time. There seem to be a lot of Street traffic, with people walking and sitting down on the beach, they did not interact much with those who were fishing however, there were plenty of families out here enjoying the space together! We felt quite a few bites but we’re unable to snag any fish. However, a family next to us, at least half a dozen!

Didn’t catch anything as I lost the crank to my reel somewhere between my house and Whiskers...ducks were fearless and other people were having fun...would of been a great day...Went back next day... no fish but fishing good anyway.

Nice and clean area but nasty porta potty in the parking lot. Very popular, lots of ppl fishing and almost everyone was catching carp. They installed trash cans since the last time we were there.

Cool spot, park and fish. I stopped just to check it out. Parking and fishing are free. Very popular spot, I talked to a guy who catches all the time, those carp in photo are his and they're 14-16" long. Fishing license is required. Good spot to park to just walk on beach.

Yeah,.. The Game and Wildlife Warden could possibly show up and give poching fine. You can report your catch to Fish and Game Warden when they put a permit on lake for certain catch. Do a lake tournament for State record give angler commission of entry.
Normal fishing license cost ($56.22 if you don't already have it) and fishing from the beaches is free, there is a limit to how many you can catch but those are always posted on the beaches as well

all night you can fish clear that you can use your kayak
It's open to the public with free HC parking available. Just walk through the sand down to the beach.
