I have had issues trying to reach my case worker by phone. Leaving messages with no call backs. Trying to get a live person on the phone was impossible so I am beyond happy that this office is here. I came in on a Wednsday morning and everyone was very kind and helpful. Celia was so informative and assisted with paperwork to get this going. I spent 1 hour from start to finish which is nothing compared to other locations. I highly recommend coming to this office. They make sure to take all the steps necessary and I truly appreciate that.

Lots of questions but answers are not very available. The promise is better than the truth. I was told I would be called on a Friday I had to do a follow up on Tuesday the next week still no call back. That was incident number one. The next was a phone appointment that was not kept. I had to follow up (again). Then I was told documentation was needed I went to the office within the hour still the worker was not available. After a 2 hour wait. Again on 2/7/2018. Was told worker would contact me 2/8/2018 still no call back yet. This location has a serious issue with promissory completion. I will be there at 7:45am waiting again to do a in person follow up again. Let’s see how good my luck is tomorrow. I am going to ask for the supervisor to contact. The worker has a communication issue. Maybe week 3 will be successful????

Go to the welfare department it is upstairs. Just talk to someone at the desk they will help you. They are very friendly and helpful

Ok so you are going to get the name of the person who helped well spoke to you this way...then you are going to ask the ladies at the front desk when you first walk in where there are chairs the elevator you tell them that you want to speak to the manager for this person or a supervisor who ever in charge of the workers.

If you sent in a packet on the 31st, usually they have up to 10 days to process your reinstatement. In this case you will receive a notice of action within the month, informing you of your status. Remember that if you do not agree with a decision, look on the back of your notice of action for instructions on requesting a hearing. Most times they can sort it out withou actually having a hearing. If you re applied in person, then you should have been told what your status is. If you suspect something, do not hesitate to call your worker, or their supervisor. If they give you the run around, show up in person with a written request to get your answers. They cannot deny a written request.
