This little restaurant has amazeballs, fresh ground burgers that are definitely the best in town. I had the Yeti half pounder, and it was perfectly juicy, double cheesed, and topped with a tomato so fresh it might have come out of a back garden. Fries were right out of the fryer. nice and crunchy, too. The folks are super friendly and accommodating, and I and a great conversation with the owner about how he patronized the local small butcher for his meat. l

As always, Big Red’s Shanty has the best, most delicious burgers in Morgantown! Thanks to the freshest ingredients from the butcher right next door they get it right every time. Stop by for a delicious Monster burger or if you’re feeling bold, the full pound Yeti. Big Red’s never fails to impress!

We had lunch here, and it exceeded my expectations! My fiancé and I both ordered the Yahoo Steak sandwich and we were pleasantly surprised to see them cooking a steak filet for our sandwiches. It was absolutely delicious! The service was impeccable, too! Will definitely be back.
