First time at the range and had an absolutely positive experience. The employees were nothing but professional and helpful. Highly recommend going. Looking forward to future visits

Great place with even better staff! Very knowledgeable and friendly, especially for first-time shooters. Have a great supply of ammo and rental guns. Buy a membership if you go frequently, it pays for itself quickly! Highly recommend!

I have wanted to learn about firearms and get some initial training in safety and operation. Today, I got to take the Basic Handgun Safety Course in Huntington Beach taught by Albert. I had a great experience here. Albert was an excellent instructor and presented the course materials in an interesting manner, easy to follow and understand. During the actual firing of weapons, Albert was there to demonstrate safety procedures and firing techniques. He closely observed the students to ensure the proper handling and firing of the firearms. Truly, a very rewarding experience leaving me with a great appreciation for the use of handguns.

The staff is very down-to-earth and helpful. As a person that's never gonna shooting before I felt very comfortable because the staff make sure that the safety procedures were known to everyone there.

It was $20 for the firing Lane, prices for targets are good. Brought my own ammo
Are you asking what kind of firearms that Firing Line has for use?
Your father will need to be over 21 with a valid ID and be able to demonstrate to the range officers that they can properly and safely operate the rental firearm. If your dad isn't very good with guns consider taking a shooting lesson together, it would be a fun thing to do as a group if you needed! The range provides ear and eye protection as well as targets.
Update for 2020: first person is $24 and each additional shooter is $12 on the same lane.
Im sure you can call them .super nice people working there
Naw they dont
It needs to be pellets not BB's but I'm 99% sure you can.
Yep
Not as a valid ID. They tend to require valid IDs for all shooters.
No. You should not go shooting alone if you do not know how to handle a gun. However, there are so many options to learn how to shoot. Call Firing line and ask them to give you an instructor's phone number.
Yes!
Yes. However, you must either bring a firearm with you OR have a second adult accompany you. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to rent a firearm. I believe this is still the case; it is done to prevent suicides.
18 to rent. For those under 18, must have parental consent (in writing) and an adult supervising the minor.
They specify that everything must be a pistol cartridge and nothing over 44 Magnum. I don't believe they allow anything black powder or ball n cap. Call the shop to confirm. They are open 10am to 10pm on weekdays and noon to 10pm in weekends.
You might try Turner Sporting Goods .. They have great gun training classes
Yes, but at $25 an hour, why would you want to? Find an empty field?
You may want to call them
You don't need a license to own a gun.
Yes, I see people pick up their own brass all the time.
I am pretty sure any form of government issued ID will be sufficient.
I agree with Michael's comment. In addition please note that if you're a CCW you may not carry conceal while at the range.
Nope
You have to know how to shoot and handle a gun. Otherwise, please consider having an experienced shooter go with you, or take a class. Going to a range without any experience puts people at risk. Remember that this is live fire!
No shotguns. Only guns that shoot pistol ammunition. So some long guns. But no shotguns.
If alone you must bring your own gun .if with some one you can rent one .I think it the best place around for a daft and fun time
