I agree with Michael's comment. In addition please note that if you're a CCW you may not carry conceal while at the range.
Most ranges work on the principle of you must have a partner to shoot. So you bring your own firearm then you can shoot. If you don't own a gun then you must bring another person with you to be able to rent a gun. The "firearm safety card" is not a permit and is only necessary for purchase but not for use. If you're talking about a CCW, then that is also not necessary for use of the range.
Gun and ID might need to pass the safety test.
