My dogs love visiting Heroes Dog Park. Plenty of space to run and play. People are friendly too. My only complaint is one that is more of an indictment on the visitors to the park. People who do not pick up their dog’s poop. I really think cameras should be placed around all public areas and fines levied when people don’t follow the rules.

This dog park complex is amazing. Especially when you compare it to the parks near my home within a major city on the east coast. The sheer number of options along make it amazing. Then you add in the size and the cleanliness and I am in shock. It was a treat to visit this afternoon and I look forward to returning with family all week.

Great dog park for doggies except for this lady, her husband and her dogs which are very aggressive and she always says that her dog is just playing very loud and rude people...PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS LADY AND HER PUPPETS. Other than that the park is GREAT...

I love that this park is close to my neighborhood and generally very clean. There's some cute agility course equipment in each of the areas. Two separate areas based on size and plenty of dirt and grass for dogs and seating for owners. Great water fountains for dogs and humans. Only complaint is that it could definitely use more shade for dogs to play in.

There is no fee. Courtesy trash bags are provided everywhere to clean up messes. Some people come with led dog collars/ harnesses to allow their furbabies some extra play time.

Do they have separate areas for small and large dog's?

Yes. There are 3 gated areas. Those with grass might be locked on a rainy day. The one with Sandy terrain is always open and we call it the rainy day park... That particular one is overly large and open to all size dogs and owner discretion whether or not you take your dog. I take my small terrier and my large German shepherd. And please if you have small children do not bring roller skates and bicycles and scooters to the dog park ...off leash animals 😄 there are several play parks very close by for the kiddos
