Drinking fountains don't work in the small dog side. So definitely bring your own water. Nobody picks up after their dogs. There's was dog poop everywhere. When we got here a lady with a german shepherd in the small dog park telling everyone that her dog was aggressive and not to come in. She said that we need to take our 4 small dogs to the large dog she side so she could have the entire small dog side to herself.

Great dog park so close to my house, didn't even know it was here! Love it, nice big area, plenty of trees to explore for the dogs. Water fountain on site for dogs and small patches of grass too. Overall awesome park close to home, even has nice play area for children!!

Cute little playground. This park has two gated areas for dogs. We didn't know this when going, but I will be bringing my dogs next time we go! There is a nice party to walk around, but no bathrooms. My two year old has the playground to herself. It's made for older kids, but she still had fun.

From the city website: Argent Development will begin construction shortly on the second phase of Alderwood Park . Separated by a small open space and located just east of the first phase along Baxter Road, this second phase will include a larger tot lot, picnic shelter, and parking lot as well as restrooms, pickleball courts, and a small recreation room that residents can rent out for events . Upon construction of the final phase of Alderwood Park, the City of Murrieta will have the park’s official dedication ceremony . Until then, please enjoy the first phase amenities!
