Kept trying to tour campground and every time called was told that they were not there to call back the next weekend. We got this response for 4-5 weekends. Emailed them and never received response.

We have been permanent camping at McDermott's for 4 years now and find it to be one of the better deals in northern Ohio for what you get. Our camp fees are around $1900/year but with that you get a beautiful Lake (Berlin Reservoir), a huge heated in ground pool, pavilion with parties every weekend, full electric and sewer on every site...the whole deal. We have checked around and for what McDermott's provides, it is hard to find a better price or value. The owner is very serious about keeping a family atmosphere and generally lets violators know to keep things quiet. He is also very serious about getting paid. He is no-nonsense and puts a lot of money into improving the place.

Best thing to do is contact the owner. I can tell you they are great people. My 20 years there is testament to that. That campground is not only the best place on Berlin lake but the best campground in Ohio !! Hi Lisa N see ya this weekend !

You must know someone who camps here and come as a guest. Overnight camping is $10/night per person and $25 for family. You can tent camp or stay with the member. The member has 2 wrist bands they can give you to swim or you can pay (not sure maybe $5?). Awesome place to be a camper. Great pool, lake, pavilion and bands/parties on weekends. Owner is great and keeps everything family friendly. You cant get too crazy here or you will hear about it. Its a family campground, lots of kids so that is the priority there.
