Season pass is 16 for residents of the county. I'd encourage for people who live nearby to get the pass. They have kayaks to rent and a dock for you put your own in, great place to relax at.

The lake is beautiful and peaceful. You can rent kayaks or a paddle boat and paddle around the lake. There is great wildlife if you paddle into the coves and are quiet. I have seen beaver, deer, blue herons. There are campsites, a golf course, walking trails, etc. The park is upgrading it bathrooms from port a potties to permanent bathrooms with running water.

First off, we like the park. My friends and I have been camping and fishing a couple times a summer here for about 7 years now. For whatever reason the staff seem to be kind of rude this year. They are really enforcing the one car per site rule and threaten to kick everyone out if more cars are present. They drive by every couple hours checking up on you. I get that they have rules to follow, but how about acting like a human instead of being rude. In the past 6 years we have never once had an issue with more cars or a single complaint raised against us. We always book multiple tent sites right next to each other and away from other sites. We are not in the more crowded improved sites. There is plenty of parking space at the sites we book and it seems like some common sense rules regarding cars would make sense.

The spot we got had absolutely no room to walk around in our camp site after parking the camper and truck. We missed the area for our camp spot so we decided to drive around the lake and come back around. Come to find out the gate is locked at the very end and had to find someway to turn around and drive all the way back around. Some spots look nice and big but not ours. Then we had to go around and pick up the yeah that was left. Hope you have better luck than we did. Edit: I feel like we are in the hood. It is after 2 in the morning and I can hear music bumping and people being loud.
