Pods was unwilling to deliver my 2 large storage containers after paying them thousands in storage and long-distance moving. 13 miles of freeway between my home and their nearest "service delivery area" just 30 extra minutes extra of their delivery driver's time cost me more than $2000 and a month of extreme stress. Though I spoke with several very nice people, in the end I would not recommend them to anyone. Pods is NOT a customer-first company. "Sorry" really just wasn't helpful in my situation. Do your research, they are not flexible like the recording tells you over and over while you wait on hold with the customer service department. My home is 40.6 miles away from the nearest warehouse, and they were still unwilling to deliver after paying them for 5 months. Also worth noting, Pods did not send me a survey for the 2 large storage containers in Western Washington. The service from the Spokane location was excellent. I'm sorry that this review is landing on the wrong location.

We arrived in Spokane to retrieve our stuff after having it shipped here from out of state 2 years ago. There are issues with your stuff shifing around so when you go to open your door there may be a possibility it won't open. Keep in mind when loading it, you want to make sure your POD isn't jammed packed and items close to the door can't shift easily. We also hired a professional team to load us up and pack nice and neat, it was worth every penny! My compaint is the guy at the Spokane Valley POD facility. When we arrive our POD is never there, we waited over 2 hours a few days ago. When we rent a truck and need to load it, our time is money! I wouldn't be so nasty about it if he was a nice guy. He's rude, obnoxious and it's apparent he hates his life and his job. He needs an attitude adjustment and we also expect our PODS to be out in a timely manner. Another thing, inorder for us to get our POD we have to order on line, there are times we wait hours in a que. The other night we were next in line and after waiting on hold for 45 minutes the screen when blank. I guess they just went home. It's really sad that customer service is so lame, but it really is true. Just know what you are getting into when you get a POD. It can be an ungodly nightmare!

I used big steel box for my first shipment to my new home . It arrived problem free with great communication 5/5 would recommend. Pods is the polar opposite. If your expecting professional and responsive , go anywhere else . This place should be expecting several lawsuits if this is standard of service . Still waiting in my shipping container and ever time I ask where it is the answer seems to change .

Customer service is trash. It took 5 days of me calling to get my pod delivery scheduled. Finally on the 5th day of calling 4 times I had someone who knew how to do their job. Some members would state my delivery was scheduled when it was not. I had one tell me I wasn’t allowed to speak to tier 2, which is not true. Finally someone transferred me to tier 2 which they were able to resolve the problem. Pods needs to properly train their customer service. I was also charged 200 dollars when I was told I wouldn’t be. Absolute garbage service. The delivery drivers were great. The customer service is terrible. Highly do NOT recommend the use of pods

I would suggest calling corporate and letting them know the location you are in and they should be able to get you in contact with them.
Hi, Paula. We do not prorate, so our customers pay by the month. You can keep your container for as long as you need until you're ready! We do recommend calling to schedule a pick-up or delivery at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure that your desired dates are available!
