Ive had 4 different therapist here. First one left for maternity and I was swapped to someone I wasn't comfortable with so I quit coming here. After a year or so I came back only for my new therapist to tell me that "I dont want therapy" and she "doesnt know why I bother". The guy in charge and I talked about it and got me a new therapist just for her to be on vacation for the whole month. I just stopped coming because this isn't a safe place. I wish there were other therapy services in spokane.

This place is a joke. They leave people that are not a harm to themselves or others in limbo. Even though those people really are not in a stable place at all. They are very delusional and paranoid and exhibit serious mental health problems. They do nothing for them! They leave the in limbo to just get worse and worse. I have watched it happen multiple times with a family member of mine. Why don't they have something in place for the people that are not a harm to others or themselves but yet still in need of serious mental health help? They simply don't care about the people like that. They are just in it for the money. Not to help the people with serious mental health issues. This place disgusts me.

I don't even know where to start, but to say, don't waste your time here. I was diagnosed with Manic Depression from a different clinic and I told them I was really struggling with it and they no joke stated that since they didn't diagnose me with it, they didn't want to treat it. Told me they just wanted to work on the PTSD first. I then asked for a psychological evaluation so that they could diagnose me, and they stated we don't see the need for an evaluation. Needless to say I ended up at the Chas Behavorial Health up north and they heard me. They changed my diagnoses to Bipolar 1 and got me on my meds and doing therapy. IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH REAL MENTAL HEALTH DONT GO TO THESE FAKES. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE! It was the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of medical/mental health facility. They will give you the run around for MONTHS even if you need urgent psychological help, there is no organization whatsoever and when you actually get to talk to someone, they will waste your time with red tape that serves no purpose in your mental health. I did my intake after being shuffled around from person to person; then they LOST IT! All that private information I gave them is where??? I am a truly disgusted.

Yes. They have a DBT group counseling that is amazing!!
Just go there and sign-up. You don't need an appt for your first visit...you'll go to the second floor to fill out paper and then you'll have the option of coming back for an appt to start seeing someone or waiting to see someone that same day. It's been my experience that the earlier in the day you go the quicker you'll get in to see someone. They have exceptional services and extremely caring staff!!!
You should stay home regardless but call
I just called FBH about your question. The gal said anyone 14 years and over can come get services by themselves. She also said that they may want to bring a friend or someone for moral support but that they certainly didn't have to. I'd like to add that recognizing you need help and taking the steps to get it are huge life-improving steps...both you and your friend should be proud of yourselves! I wish you both the very best!!!
I apologize, I'm not understanding what your question is but I'm guessing you want to know if they do these evaluations. That answer is yes, they do.
Yes
I know they do drug and alcohol evaluations. I'm not sure about treatment
