Liars and swindlers. Workers at SVdP are there to collect a paycheck, not help the homeless. Don't be fooled like I was — "Christian" non-profit groups like the St. Vincent de Paul Society are in it for the money. They can afford to house the homeless, and yet they'd rather keep us in squalid shelters where we can exploited and monetized for their own profit. Teresa and Angie were the only people that I met who seemed to care at all. Jesus wept.

Can't think of any organizations in the state invests much needed resources and services to the most in need population then the Lindholm service station. The center offers a fair and and dignified method of service to address the needs of individuals and families as long as they abide to rules and respect the rights of other clients,staff, and volunteers. I know there are others whom may not agree, but it's hard to find a place nowadays that will give you a shower do your laundry for you and feed you three times a day. They also offer services to help people get back on their feet back to employment and work to provide safe places for people to sleep and park vehicles legally as long as they are willing to follow a few rules. That's a great bunch of people that do endless work and it done without condition other than following the rules. I have seen several people whom complain and expect more, I would feel a lot more thankful if I were them but they have their issues and it's more than likely due to the seemingly ever increasing attitude of entitlmemt that has overtaken the attitude of appreciation in many areas of this country's population

These people are supposed to be for LOW INCOME housing. Yet you have to pay $45 every time you apply if it's been over 90 days and when they call you to apply it usually takes 90 days for the place to be move in ready. Then you get to pay the fee again. Thats if they dont call you and say "actually someone was ahead of you" like they did to me the first time (have been trying to get in for 3 years). That's cool I just wasted $45. The rent is not subsidized either so if you lose your job you just get evicted and then the best part is, you have 3 days to come up with the move in costs. THREE DAYS. What kind of place for LOW INCOME PEOPLE gives you 3 days to come up with move in costs when they make you wait 4 months while they are getting it ready and cant even give you any kind of time estimate? I have to come up with $1000 in 3 days. And their income limits for approval are so low with myself and my son I cant even take home more than $1400 a month, MAXIMUM or I am over income. It's a joke. I dont know how anyone gets in here and if you can come up with that money in 3 days you're lying about your income somewhere because people who truly meet their income limits cant come up with that kind of money in 3 days unless they got income coming in somewhere that isnt reported or have no bills. And I actually got someone to borrow me the money but me child ended up in the hospital in anaphylaxis from medicine and rotavirus and they still moved on to the next person because I couldnt make it to the appointment because my child was in isolation and anaphylaxis bunch of heartless horrible people. I couldnt get anyone else to stay with my child because NO ONE WANTS ROTAVIRUS! They are NOT there to help you, can't even wait a day or two for kid to get out of the hospital.... how can an organization going out acting like they try and help people do something like this?

This place is fantastic and the service they help people with are great i notice many patrons here are extremely ungrateful and rude to those in the community that volunteer their time to feed them, give them a shower, a chance to laundry, and take care of their pets. I for one am extremely grateful that SVDP is here to help those in need. And while i am unsure of why there is such a fuss over our flag not being hung I'd like to remind folks to look around and realize that not everyone hangs a flag. And it is our constitutional right to dislike what our country is doing and not support it. For SVDP thank you for helping me in my time of need
